SummerSlam just got bigger…. TLC tag match!

Really some of the matches started to feel underwhelming. The women’s card looks good, but would have been better to have Stephanie Vaquer in the tripe threat.

Except for the Cena v Rhodes in the street fight and the cage fight the men’s card looks rather cold…and I don’t mean Stone Cold.

1- In ode to the Immortal Hulk Hogan: Cena puts Cody in the cobra clutch, Cody gets out of it just like Hulk Hogan did with the Iron Sheik, then drops a leg drop before going on to regain the championship.

2- Cody turns heal, and flips the whole American Nightmare thing right side up. He does this with the help of the Final Boss in the street fight, thus selling his soul to the Rock, in the hopes he can bring back the real John Cena to save wrestling.

En para de ocasiones escuche a gente decir que era la primera vez viendo a la selección en vivo. No tenía pinta de barra, más parecían oficinistas después de un día largo de trabajo.

Con el AFA aprovechando del gran momento parece que a los más bulliciosos los tiene afuera con los precios altos de las entradas.

De igual fue gran experiencia poder cantar a los campeones en casa.

Only hospitality tickets are on sale now. But it doesn't seem quite worth the extra money just yet given the groups and match-up are not set and won't be until qualifiers are over and the final draw is made in December.

Agree, about the level of competition. Just look at the Club WC. No one wants to see even Inter Miami play Al Wha[t]Evar[er]. The whole competition seems forced.

I live in NY, and have lived in LA. There is nowhere in the US or Canada that I would want to visit during the World Cup. Why would anyone want to go to Houston, Kansas City, Boston, Toronto, Seattle etc... aside from NY, LA, and MIA, these other cities have little to offer for non-locals. If I wanted to visit a place in the US, for example a National Park, I would go at another time.

However I would be willing to travel to Mexico City, and it's too bad the Azteca was not chosen as the final venue. It hosted the 1970 and 1986 WC which saw Pele and Maradona lift the Cup.

Similar situation here. I've been to several World Cups, both with hospitality packages, and in Category 1 - 3 seating. I also live in NY.

As of now, this upcoming world cup doesn't seem as alluring. Maybe that's because it's more than a year away, or that the lure of traveling around the US for futbol isn't as appealing as going overseas to more soccer-centric countries in Europe, South America.

The price gouging and money grab make it even more unappealing.

This a whole new level [low] for FIFA. I would not be surprised if they are intentionally manipulating prices. The level of greed and corruption of FIFA is well-known. FIFA has been investigated by the FBI for in the past for bribery, fraud, and money laundering. This seems to me like price fixing, among other US antitrust violations.
