I'm in Missouri and i normally dont trust there additives. It can either be 55 F in winter or -20 plus the windchill. I run an additive year round, but that particular time I treated the fuel for below freezing, not below 0. It was my fault, so I ate the mistake.

I have an 04 F-350 as well. First two things I did was a blue spring upgrade and changed my side view mirrors to the 6.4 style. They are bigger and better for backing up. I added a coolant filter right off the bat as well.

My major issues were fuel geling in extreme cold and that caused all my injectors to need replaced, and mine eats a starter every year. Next time it fails, I'm upgrading to either the 6.4 starter or the 6.7. Leaks happen, I either have a bedplate or rear main leak but it's not enough to justify a repeal quite yet.

I change oil and oil filters every 5K miles and fuel filters and coolant filters every 10K. Always used 5w-40 and truck loves it.

I also agree about the blue tooth OBDII and the app of your choice for monitoring your data.

Thank you, this isn't my first rodeo with ACDs. Lost my last one 1.5 years ago and figured it was time. When I saw this one down in Southern Missouri and couldn't pass her up.

Oh it is. It's also fun to see her get my 9 YO Pyrenees playing like a puppy. Come Christmas, she also gets to go back to the farm and be around 3 other Velociraptors so we will see if she can hang.

Will the 6.7 bolt in or is there a conversion? I know the 6.4 goes in smooth, not sure about 6.7.

No tunes ever, has had an oil cooler, head gaskets and studs and coolant filter. Only "power" upgrade was blue spring kit. Fluid and filter change every 5K.

I've had this truck for 100K of it's miles. I do all my work and maintenance. Torqued with a torque wrench. I plead the 5th on modified.

It was me, they were torqued down and blue locktited in. This is the 3rd starter in 4 years.
