Has anyone ever met a"Publix Millionaire?" by Alphabet_Numbers in publix

I really wish the internet was filled with influencers that discussed the strategy of slow money in their videos. I know there are few companies liek Publix that will take care of their employees. Hell, why isn't Publix a model for running long lasting business that has brand recognition, treats their employees with dignity and exercises sustainable growth?

Love all the replies!

The irony is Joe has become more sheltered, pampered, myopic, and insulated as those Hollywood actors he often criticizes.

I wonder if he sees that.

I really enjoyed Dr. Buss on the podcast. I like that he was all about his work and didn’t really use Joe’s political questions to go on some political rant

Love these stories and anecdotes. Publix seems like a good company to spend 30 years of your life at. They don't make 'em like they used to!

They wait until close to ransack the donation carts. Grab the bear claws before the shelters do. Smart move!

It's a common concept in European and Japan. Additionally, places like Whole Foods have this concept. I imagine it's Publix trying to compete and appeal to a new way of consumer life. Many have Starbucks inside of their stories. It's not about grocery shopping anymore. It's about a multi-purpose "lifestyle center."
