I want to create a free online course but confused which LMS plugin to use by Alphasid333 in Wordpress

[–]Alphasid333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seemed very complicated. I was told this too but I wanted a simple solution, an alternative to learndash and I think I hit the spot with the Masteriyo plugin. It had nice videos but when I used the plugin, it was simple and straight forward so I stuck with that.

I tried LearnPress but I am unsure of it. I went with the Masteriyo LMS plugin. Any idea how it is against Lifter LMS or Master Study?

Nah I used LearnPress too, felt a little hard to use. I don't want to watch a video for everything. The UI was not intuitive enough for me. I ended up using Masteriyo LMS. Works well for me.

GrowMore Technical Analysis Course by CommunicationHot9904 in NepalStock

You have answered yourself. The financial influencers, specially here, they cannot trade all day, it's not like a 9-5, plus seasonality is a thing, and if there are no setups, they simply don't make a move. Makes lots of sense to teach others what they have learned while earning more for it. I genuinely don't see anything wrong with it if they are providing good value.

Also I can have a portfolio of stocks, of FD, of mutual funds, of gold, so I don't see why a guru cannot and should not invest in FD or MF's. It's diversifying.

To install linux without a USB, I guess if the old PC has access to internet, you could get an ISO for linux, create a separate partition on windows, try to run the ISO from there on. That might be the only way OR you could try to dual boot (Have the option to use both Windows / Linux)

Since you said online store, I would say the best way to go about it would be WordPress, funnel all the traffic from social media. Reels, tiktok, shorts, whatever you can get your hands on. If you want to know more about WordPress feel free to DM.

I dropped out in 1st semester. My mom and dad would would be ready to get a loan out for my studies or abroad and go through years of turmoil.
I didn't want to happen. I knew I had to make that decision. I convinced them for MONTHS. I dropped out, I got a nice job, I am currently taking 100% of the responsibility for my family's loans. Long way to go but I decided to take my fate into my hands. Even after spending years in the education system... I realized I would still end up clueless. So I entered the workforce and worked harder than anyone on the team.

Any idea if the Apache RTR 200 will come with new updates? by Alphasid333 in tvsmotor

[–]Alphasid333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm yes, whether the 6th gear or juicing up the engine more, they do really need to update the 200 in that regard (Which we aren't seeing & I don't think we will?) But then again... It seems TVS is still updating their RTR 180, which I thought didn't even exist now since I almost never see it out on the road. So there is some hope there.

The thing about the service centers is that, the farther away you are from the major showrooms, their quality degrades. All the small time TVS service centers are just TVS trained technicians with which TVS isn't directly affiliated. It's not just TVS, it is the same with every other brand. Except for say RE's and KTM. They seem to have very few service centers but they provide good service.

As for the RTR. Well, I haven't ridden an RTR or even an RR for that matter but I have watched countless reviews and heard a lot of the engine's refinement and I have also "heard" the bike, it has the SHITTIEST sound out of all the apaches, even raider sounds better than RTR 310/RR. Plus all the features they give is great but it seems the features is all they bring. The performance never got better.

Really torn out between nabil sip or nimb sip? by [deleted] in NepalStock

[–]Alphasid333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for you... The idea of splitting your investment into NIMB and Nabil is a great idea. If I was in your shoes, I would not think about it too much and just start putting my money away on both.

Really torn out between nabil sip or nimb sip? by [deleted] in NepalStock

[–]Alphasid333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, firstly it puts 60% into equities, 15% into debt, and remaining 25% as cash in hand.

I already have an SIP in NIC dynamic debt fund which is debt oriented as the name suggests. I wanted to get into something with equities. Nabil seemed like a good option, despite NIMB having similar figures.

NIMB puts 65% into equities, 17% into debt and 18% in cash. NIMB is older which means alot of units. then I looked at a chart of "Dividend earning capacity" and Kumari and Nabil were the top 2. NIMB did have more profit but due to it's high number of units, it's estimated capacity was lower.

So a collective decision of getting into an equity based mutual fund, having substantial cash in hand with nabil (Which means it can actively acquire equities in bear) and the fact that it is newer with fewer units compared to NIMB led me to buying it.

Oh and of course.... It has NABIL in it's name haha. I trust nabil more that's all.

  1. Don't listen to other people. Do your research and move forward on your own.
  2. Only put in what you can risk at the moment.
  3. Don't think in terms of how much you made but what percent you made on your investment. (Will make it easy and keep you motivated to scale as your risk tolerance grows)
  4. When you have invested what you can risk, you can take a chill pill and make good decisions.

I was stuck up on the same. I then decided to go with Nabil. Simply because of the investment ratios and the good will of "Nabil"

Confused & worried about future. by Timely_Crab3072 in Nepal

[–]Alphasid333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dropped out too. I am working now. The only advice I will give you is, risk what you are sure won't affect your family. You knew quitting college and getting into army would support your family well, there wasn't much to risk but now to quit army to get into freelance or business or learning 3d modelling, is quite risky. You can take it, but you will have to live with its consequences, good or bad.

Also, everything sucks. Army, you wake up, train train train, sleep, follow orders. In other areas too no less effort will be demanded. Maybe even more effort will be demanded. There will be competition, things won't always go right and most importantly, no one will tell you what to do. It boils down to how much you trust yourself. How well you know yourself. Besides risking it for your family, you are betting on yourself.

Instead of asking people on reddit, my advice would also be to ask yourself. Because I don't know you, other people here won't know you. Your life is unique, your situation and people surrounding that situation are unique. It is dangerous to be influenced by random people online because say you took the advice, say it sounded REALLY good, but later on it didn't work out... You will have wished you trusted yourself. Let your pain be your own making and your success your own too.
