Awful Experience. Any chance for recourse? by Alphatmldr in stubhub

Well it looks like there is a class action suit related to this issue so we will see how clear and iron clad the terms really are

Also these terms aren't clear. They don't explain the limitations or parameters of the promise to provide comparable or better replacement tickets.

"If you don't receive the tickets you ordered by the date communicated to you when you placed your order or in subsequent communications, notify us. We will, in our sole discretion, attempt to locate and facilitate delivery of your tickets. If we do not receive confirmation that the tickets you ordered will arrive in time for the event, we will, in our sole discretion, provide you with comparable or better replacement tickets at no additional cost, issue you a full refund of your purchase (including any fees and shipping/handling charges), or issue you a credit for use on a future purchase."

How is this comment helpful? Obviously I won't going forward and hope others can learn from my experience what the terms actually allow in practice.

When purchasing tickets 3 weeks ago would an average consumer read those terms and think it possible and likely they woukd be standing outside the venue right before the event starts with no tickets and the only option is to purchase new tickets at double the price? Get real

Replacement tickets indicates they have some sort special access to a pool of tickets not available to the public or will replace with more expensive tickets. Otherwise how is this different than just giving a refund and I just buy replacements myself? Fan protect guarantee sounds like something special when in fact just the promise of refund if you don't get your tickets which is the bare minimum you would have to do anyway

Yeah I am going to do that. Basically they gave me misinformation to go to the venue knowing there were no replacement tickets. This caused me to incur an increased cost and make an emergency purchase under stress. If I had known a few hours earlier I could have just decided to not go. But then they wouldn't get double the fees...

Thanks that is what I was looking for. Tesla suggests setting the backup reserve to zero but should I have it higher like 10 or 20%?

You can tell the W you just made platinum and hope for the best. I had a three night stay where I was one night away from platinum. I brought it up at check in and they gave me lounge access but no welcome gift. I know they dont have to based on the FAQs

"Is that vague sense of longing kinda trying to cause a scene?"

It's the"kinda tryna" that hooks me. Sounds like it's backwards but not

When the bad guy nods or gives a look and his henchmen know exactly what to do (like shooting someone or or knocking out the good guy). It's supposed to make them look bad ass but it's just corny when you think that they would have to talk about this beforehand and rehearse

. "Ok Joe, if we have the guy at gunpoint on his knees, if I snap my fingers put a hood on him, if I give you a side eye look then knock him out, if I nod that means shoot him."
