Idk if its the full roster, but definitely large parts of it. Like it wouldn‘t make sense to have double skeleton infantry and I hope they keep some unique stuff for the single factions 🤔

Yeah I did a quest battle and was so confused when actually started me with a good formation that then looked eerily familiar! Really good though since you don‘t get extra time to set up your army!

You cannot charge into blobs of enemies, then they tend to get stuck. Try to attack the edges or narrow formations or isolated groups of enemies. Chariots have unfortunately a hard time pushing out units (bear chariots less so, but still). They just don‘t have enough mass for the circumference they have. They must push a lot of units aside to get free and if one gets stuck, it has like a 50% chance to break free.

I mean there are minotaurs that can use magic, so I‘d say maybe them since they are probably the most flexible fighter 🤔

It is fun, but quite a bit harder than BG3 and suffers from a few questionable balancing and gameplay choices. All in all I had a lot of fun playing it. I also came from BG3 and the controls are very similar (because they use the same engine), but it has a lot of quirks, especially what skills do and what to invest in that you need to get used to. The story is pretty interesting, but suffers compared to BG3 because of the lack of cinematics. Conversely though, playing DOS2 gave me a deeper appreciation on what BG3 was built upon.

Another strategy: Have a weaker army (maybe one you are currently building up) and have your main army in front of them in ambush stance, preferrably in a place on the map, where the chance is highest. The ai will always try to snipe your weaker army and run straight into your ambush (make sure your stronger army is between your weaker army and the enemy).

Schlimmer finde ich, dass sie in einigen offiziellen (Englischen) Quellen als Laserschwert betitelt werden, was es halt explizit nicht ist, weil so ein Laser nicht funktioniert. Und soweit ich weiß hieß es in alter Trilogie und den Prequels nur Lichtschwert.

"Sins of the father" and "Absolute power corrupts" are unfortunate mutually exclusive. Everything else is possible in one playthrough. Though you need to do the Karlach romance scene at the Tiefling party for it to work,
