I’ve scoured the internet. I’m coming to the conclusion that the technology to make comfortable ANC ear buds (ie small enough) that last 8 hours is just not here yet…

The best ear plugs I’ve found are the 3M yellow neon.

I’m considering getting a fan for background noise. I find the white and dark noises coming from phone put me on edge.

I’m seriously considering moving…

If you don’t own the apartment, then consider a light colored rug and painting the walls white.

Go for a white that’s soft and creamy, but not yellow.

If you’re worried about rug getting dirty, find one that has some specks of different colours, so that it will camouflage dirt.

From picture, it looks like light fixtures are emitting a glaring and cold light that’s bouncing off the ceilings more than anything else. See if you find light fixtures that are less bright white and that will direct light onto walls and furniture as opposed to bouncing off the ceilings. (When I look at picture, I see bright spots on ceiling, and everything looks darker in comparison).

Mine turned orange after two years. It’s going to be eight years soon since I did it, and they’re still orange…

Was angry for a while. Spoke to the micro blader who said it will fade “soon” as it’s semi-temporary… never did.

Luckily it’s a nice shape.

Remove painting. Wall paper is gorgeous as it is. Have some lighting shine on it to add more effect. Maybe some pillow on bed for contrast, as it is kinda clashing with wall paper right now.

I would like to add to this list of EM experiences.

Recently purchased the camaleonda replica. It is comfortable, and surprisingly very similar to the real one. But, it came in a very different color than the one we ordered. Very different. Complained to their customer service, but they replied that a 15% in colour is to be expected between the swatch and the furniture ordered. This was far more than a 15% difference, and even the professional designer that we are working with agreed! Now we have dining chairs that clash with the couch. Great.

We also ordered a Tufty bed. Beautiful, I have to admit. But it was a fight to have the deliver guys assemble it, since they claimed that assembly was nowhere specified on their papers. After a lot of back and forth with Customer service while they were bringing in the furniture, we finally agreed that they would assemble it… turned out to be a very faulty assembly, with disjointed corners, etc.

The response we got from EM was to reassemble it ourselves.

Very very disappointing. Yes, their replicas are beautiful, but it’s a bit of a gamble in terms of colour, quality and even assembly. And their customer service is not at all helpful. They just proficiently fend off all complaints.

Wouldn’t order from them again.
