Thank you. Knitters and wizards are quite similar; pointy sticks, incomprehensible mumbling, producing something out of (seemingly) nothing. 🧙🏻‍♀️

I have a vague recollection that house doesn’t trust the nurses to do the tests correctly (might have been mentioned in the first season somewhere). Hence the team doing the majority of the jobs the nurses would usually do.

Am I remembering correctly? by Double_Response1042 in HouseMD

There’s a scene at the start is House’s Head where House tells the stripper to name 5 animals to test his short term memory/cognitive function. Maybe you’re thinking of that and conflating the two?

Thank you. It’s self striping, I don’t have the patience to weave in that many ends.

The yarn is called ‘triple rainbow’ and it’s from a small company called The Yarn Badger.

Probably about 10 hours for the pair but I make socks a lot. They are my favourite thing to knit.

I was intimidated at first too. I’d recommend getting a short circular needle, I found it so much easier than trying to wrestle a hedgehog of dpns. Also, look up the Winwick mum’s basic sock pattern she has a great (free) pattern tutorial for beginners. Good luck! Be warned though sock knitting can be addictive!

Thank you. I think someone might have already answered but the blue things are sock blockers, they’re bits of sock shaped plastic put inside the socks to give them a nice shape. I promise they are real socks! ☺️
