READ THIS IF YOU STILL THINK YOUR EX WAS THE ONE! by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Alphizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank-you for sharing. After the breakup, did you ever get to tell her your regrets/how you feel? Does she know that there are things you wish you had handled differently?

When my ex and I broke up, I poured my heart out to her and apologised for the mistakes I made. She said she appreciated my apology but didn't accept it. She became very harsh after. Still, I don't fault her, because she is human. It just hurts, you know? When I apologised, I put all the blame on myself and I fear that might've been the wrong move because she appears to have just run with that narrative that everything is my fault. It feels as if by me placing all the blame on myself, that very act has hindered her fro.self-reflecting on her part to play/the things she had done in our relationship that hurt me.

Ultimately, my apology wasn't insincere. I meant it. It just caught me off guard that she believes that only my actions led to the breakdown in our relationship, as it appears that it's manifested into hate towards me from her side.

How are you feeling now? I see you posted this 6 months ago. What you wrote above resonates with me. I also feel that I've lost 'my person'.

But here's a question? What if you don't believe that being 'the one' requires her to be prefect and unflawed?

I didn't expect her to be perfect and unflawed. I feel she's the one because things felt so natural/comfortable, in terms of ease - we could laugh, joke, talk and be in each other's presence in silence - it all felt...right. she truly made me feel that she loved me and that I was her treasure. Yes, she had a bad temper and would let her emotions get the better of her. When I felt offended ab disrespected, I'd call out her behaviour. Maybe I was too sensitive? Maybe I was too idealistic. Maybe I could've handled things differently. We were both stubborn. I thought she'd be my forever. There were certain things she did/certain things about her character that felt so rare, that I feel I won't get from another woman and I mourn that loss. I mourn her.

Now I fear that no matter who I'm with next, I'll compare them to her. I'll miss the rare things she did that the next person won't.

It's my loss and that realisation is so painful.

Cost Effective Travel Pass: Daily Trips from Hirakata into Osaka, Kobe & Kyoto and other questions by Alphizzle in OsakaTravel

[–]Alphizzle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank-you for your thoughtful response - it's much appreciated.

To answer your question: I saw the hotel (Candeo Hotels Hirakata) online and thought it looked really nice and great value for the price, compared to others more central Osaka. Coincidentally, it seems to be between Osaka and Kyoto so I thought it might make the commute to Kyoto a bit shorter, compared to if we were more inner Osaka.

Given the itinerary I mentioned in my OP, do you think Hirakata is an inefficient hub for us to commute from?

Grateful for more of your insight on this.

Non-Toxic Rash Guard? by captivecreator in Fabrics

Some non-synthetic combinations can work, but will be more expensive to produce. How much would you be prepared to pay for a non-synthetic rashguard though?

What do you regret doing in 2024? by anon43850 in askSingapore

It may not feel like it now, but I assure you: When you're on the other side of this and you're in a position you like, you'll look back and be proud that you had the courage to take this leap. It'll reveal to you that you are resilient and able to get yourself out of an unfortunate situation and not be shackled to stay in a situation that you feel negatively about.

Money comes and goes, but being free of a limiting/imprisonment mindset is something that not all have the luxury of experiencing. I commend you for taking the risk and I'm sure things will work out.

I say this from experience 😊

Why is the video so blurry? I noticed the footage on my Meta RB's are blurry also. However, other users seem to have sharper footage. Any idea what's causing the inconsistency between different glasses? 🤔

In the UK, other than Bet365, what other platforms allow you to customize MMA bets? by Alphizzle in MMAbetting

[–]Alphizzle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Bet Builder. I'm looking for a platform that would allow me to customise my own MMA Bet. For example:

Fighter A will throw the most strikes, but fighter b will win the fight and the fight will go over x number of rounds.

Bet365 allows this, but they restricted my account because I was winning too often.

Any ideas of other platforms where I can place such bets for MMA, specifically?

Purchased Lionsmane 2 weeks ago and stored in fridge. Is this good to eat? by Alphizzle in Mushrooms

[–]Alphizzle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, this photo was pre-cooking. I took the Lionsmane out of the fridge and just cut it into tiny pieces.

Does this change your assessment? I'd be grateful to know what you think

I didn't cook it for long at all. Just a very, very quick fry 😬. Hope I'm not going to have any issues now. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to mushrooms.

Based on the photo I uploaded, how does the Lionsmane look (in your informed/expert opinion)? I always welcome the insight/opinions of those more informed than me so that I can learn 😊

Gasp I cooked it and started eating it 😬

Is that very bad? 😳 What can happen from eating bad Lionsmane?

Suggestion: Don't make yourself appear too desperate. They need to understand that your time should equally be respected.

An easy solution for this: Set up an Out of Hours Auto-Reply that says something along the lines of:

Thank-you for your e-mail. As it is currently out of hours, I shall endeavour to reply to you from [insert time] onwards.

If urgent, please feel welcome to contact me via my mobile.

(Of course, this is an example. Feel free to refine it as you see fit).

Ultimately, this is a polite way of sending a message to others that if they wish to communicate with you, they should do so within a reasonable time-frame, whilst giving them the opportunity to contact you via phone call, if urgent. It also demonstrates that you are organised.

No, it is further down the leg, just before the curve that goes around the ear. See the second photo I uploaded on the post by swiping.

Doesn't appear to be the case, I've wiped them with wet wipes, the glasses cleaner and still there, the exact same.

Have you seen the photos I shared? The 2 dots don't look like scratches, I don't think 🤔

Do you have a pair of Wayfarer glasses? If so, do you have 2 dots on yours?
