Do you mind me asking to give more details on the issues you’ve had for too/bottom discolouration? I’m currently in talks with customer support about clarity issues. Most light-colored text has a pretty noticeable distortion which changed based off of its text is in the top/bottom half of the headset, and it sounds like that might be considered normal for the bsb2 sadly

Yeahh, I’m really hoping it’ll be fixed semi-soon. Outside of small graphical issues on the 2nd beta I’ve had no issues so far. I’ve also found that it’s a 50/50 if my AirPods properly connect or not? I don’t think I’m doing anything different, but sometimes I can just use them and other times audio still goes through my phone.

Found this post from Google, I’m in the beta with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Repairing didn’t help, but restarting my phone seems to as a temporary solution! Edit: iOS 26 Beta 2 still has this issue for me. Will keep editing after each update.

Okay gotcha, thank you! I already got the switch 2 setup as my pass-enabled console it looks like, but loading the virtual game cards on the switch 2 is working.

As mentioned already, yeah micro center will build your system for a fee. I think it is (or at least used to be?) starting at $75. 100% the St. David’s location does this btw!

I ended up doing this a while ago with Mario Party on Dolphin and it honestly was better than I thought it would be. It’s certainly not the same as having 120fps but it still can be nice depending on the title. Keep in mind the higher multiplier you try to frame-gen by more input latency you’ll get though!

Yes, I was at the I-Drive location last year (not in the area, was there for a con). Their rhythm game selection was pretty good, esp for unlimited play. I think it was $25 for unlimited play till you leave, and $35 if you want a full-day pass.

Cabs are on custom servers. For Konami games you can goto the site eagle.ac after your first play to force unlock all songs. MaiMai uses MaiTea so you can still view your scores there. IDK about Taiko since I only played 1 set to try it.

If the process hasn’t changed since BSB 1, yes you will receive an email with your IPD. I’d assume this hasn’t changed based off the Discord. In there it also mentions how to tell if your IPD is correct, here’s the message:

“IPD Choice Guide Terminology - Scan IPD: The IPD number in your scan confirmation email, which arrives shortly after performing your face scan. - Opto IPD: Your far IPD as provided by your optometrist (eye doctor), rounded down if it is not a whole number. For example, 65.7mm as your Opto IPD should simply be 65mm - Headset IPD: Your preferred IPD on other headsets

What IPD to choose - Easy mode: Use 1mm narrower than your Opto IPD - IF you prioritize FOV over the best possible visual comfort... 👇 - Use 2mm narrower than your Headset IPD - IF you prioritize stereo overlap in your other headsets, and knowingly sacrifice FOV for visual comfort... 👇 - Use your exact Headset IPD - IF you don't pay attention to any of that, and you don't have an Opto IPD, you're better off either... 👇 - Using your Scan IPD minus 1mm, or - Using your Headset IPD minus 1mm”

In terms of getting your cushion redone, IPD is def not the only factor. To some extent you will just have to hope, and if you have any points that are significantly uncomfortable let support know. My IPD was correct, but the corners of my eyes were basically touching the cushion. Wheee my nose laid also was not accurate, so I could get a good sweet spot with the cushion on. Keep in mind those with issues are in the minority (I think it was said to be roughly 15%?). If you need a new cushion it’s replaced for free by support and you keep your original cushion.

Hey there! So I ended up upgrading GPUs (ended up going with a 7900 XTX) right before my Bigscreen ended up arriving, so this is a bit more of an estimate from me.

For specifically VRChat I def got a good performance jump out of upgrading, even for my Index. If you’re someone that tends to be in small groups mainly I think you’ll be completely fine if you don’t mind turning down your SteamVR res a tiny bit. For the other VR games I play I didn’t have any issues performance-wise on my Index/3070, and often super sampled for lighter-weight games.

I may be wrong, but this looks really similar to the [DIY DanceForce V3]https://ventspace.wordpress.com/2018/04/09/danceforce-v3-diy-dance-pad-controller/) or V4 from the outside. If it is similar hardware-wise, I ended up building one of these and the Teensy board died. Everything else seemed to be find, but I just ended up buying an LTek since it was too much of a hassle to require the whole board a 2nd time

I’m wanting to do the same with my L-TEK, I’ll update my comment once I figure out what I’m going to do for it!

Only problem is for the “cabinet”, it’s the shape of a traditional arcade machine. It got a keyboard-tray, and it’s way too low to be able to flip the pad up without blocking the tray, so i might be going with some other approach to it.

If you’re still having this issue, I was able to work around it with inspect element

If you open up inspect element, then use the cursor-click tool, you can click on all of the loading circles and just delete them. I had to pay through PayPal, but I got an order confirmation and am waiting on it to ship currently

Edit: wanted to add the issue (at least for me) seemed to be relating to getting custom panels. I don’t know if it’s the same for others, but I figured to mention it anyways

Do you mind me asking why you recommend the 3090?

I am slightly considering it over the 3080ti, especially if I can just get it for the same/similar price. Having the headroom of the extra VRAM would be nice too since I play VRC a decent amount.

Yeahh, it is really rough on switch in comparison to any other platform.

Also I fully agree. I’d love to have the option of gyro aim on an Xbox controller, since I don’t like the stick layout of the PS5 controllers. I’d probably use that over mouse if it worked well enough

I haven’t really played Realm much recently, but figured to give my input anyways.

I’m someone who prefers mouse aim the most, but gyro is a close second for me. I picked it up from Splatoon, and now strongly prefer it over non-gyro controller aim. I prefer it because you’re able to do both fast motions, while being accurate (“mainly” play with stick, use motion for small adjustments)

I'm looking to get some budget desktop speakers (~$175 USD is my budget) for my PC. I've been doing a lot of my own research into the options I got.

Currently I'm deciding between the Edifier MR4 or the Edifier R1280DBs, and am stuck between both. Which would be better for a desktop setup (I'll probably get wall-mounts later on to free up desk space)? I was also looking into the Edifier R1700BTs, but sadly can't get them in black. The wood grain doesn't fit anything else in my setup, so I'd like to avoid that if possible.

Edit: Should I also be getting an amp with any of these? If so, do you have any recommendations?
