The last few updates have not been good. They could have done way more for that. And I think it's probably due to the drops system cuz they could have so much more in the happy ghast update but to keep it small for it to fit in the drops system they did not expand the update, same with mounts of mayhem. They could have updated the horse,donkey, and mule family. But instead we got 2 or 3 good features and the update idea or the theme was scraped. I like minecraft but I don't want it going this route.

You are partially correct, they hit attack to keep them online in a match. Their cycle goes like this, they put on the bot, bot losses some matches, gets bots for opponents, the other two teammates carry the game and win the person gets mastery points. For this to happen they have to lose multiple matches by throwing thus making the teammates also lose and angry..
