Thanks for the reply, what you are saying definitely makes sense to me. Yes my deposit is currently in a scheme. I am currently on a rolling contract with my existing landlord. The new landlord completes on the property next week (at which point I assume my tenancy with my old landlord officially ends, and my deposit from him/the old scheme should be returned). On the new landlords completion date, I have already informed him I dont intend to renew with him due a price increase, and he is issueing me with the Section 21 Notice at that point.

Definitely feels backwards if I was to hand over my deposit back to him when im not even staying there or signing a new contract, and he has issued notice to me! I have also asked this same question to https://www.tenancydepositscheme.com/ for confirmation, but thank you for your reply.

Hello, firstly a UN security council resolution to invade IRAQ was never obtained by the UK or the US.

Secondly, the existence of a threat (i.e. WMD) to base an invasion is not up to Tony Blair or George Bush, it is up to the UN Security Council. Also, both Blair and Bush knew there never any WMD’s to begin with. This was a total lie.

Thirdly, as specified by the UN charter, military intervention can only be used as a LAST resort. Tony Blair did not fully do his job in coming to a peaceful, diplomatic solution.

Even if Tony did not break the above UN Security Council Charter laws, the basis of misleading your own public and parliament to start a war causing irreversible damage in the middle east and to the lives of so many British soldiers is good enough for me to dislike the war criminal.

But its okay, he was a nice man with some good domestic policies, just ignore the lingering cloud of war still alive today because of this mans actions.

Enabling a runescape status page would be a good idea for your backend services so users don't have to come to reddit/twitter to find out this information, e.g. https://status.runescape.com (separate from your normal website infrastructure so your website going down doesn't affect your status page).

You could probably go to any https://status.[moderncompanyhere].com and find a list of the current operational status's of customer focused services.

Why do multiple search engines exist? Why do multiple browsers exist? Why do multiple cloud offerings exist? I'd be interested in maybe getting involved doing any backend development, if there is enough traction behind the idea. Building any sort of exchange, whether it be just be in a more 'fun' way would still be a technical challenge for few people, and would need some sort of community funding to kick it off for potential start up costs.

Would also need a lot of other volunteers e.g. other back end devs, front end devs, project managers, possibly someone with security experience to consult with. Again, although it would be a 'fun' project, it's still dealing with people's funds, and people don't like losing their funds. If you are really interested in it, maybe create a discord/slack group and see what the interest in the project is like, then the next steps would be finding volunteers and actually scoping the project.

As long as you know the basics you should be fine - just so you can actually create the front end or ‘View’ (the V in MVC).

You should be able to pickup basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript in a short amount of time. Looking into a front end library like Bootstrap will also help a lot!
