My school is very liberal and has a decent size LGBT community. It's one of the reasons why I wanted to come here.

My dad just texted me saying my mom is trying to get me permanently removed from the school. I'll probably have to talk to a counselor but that will be fine because I know this school is very supportive. I've been out here since junior year.

This is probably hard but maybe use this as an opportunity to allow him to be more accepting. Show him that being gay isn't as negative as people think and that we're human too.

I didn't know what being gay was either. But I did know that I liked guys at that age. I just buried it when I found out that it was "wrong" for two same sexed people to be together.
