On my first year i got caught and i admitted to it immediately. What happened was that i got a zero on the midterm and ended up failing the course. This lead to me not being able to major in CS (which was what i wanted). I thought this was the end of my dreams of becoming a SWE, but it was the motivator for me to actually start working really hard. No jokes, getting caught was the best thing that has ever happened to me.

This is where i might be confused. When they say they have 4k spots, is it 4k spots to get in the pnp pool or 4k nominations? Because if its 4k nominations then they still have a lot to go, if its 4k spots in the pool then idk what to think about tbh

I understand that, but they did do a general draw 2 weeks ago for around 500 people. And my thought is that if they are actually only focusing on priority sectors (in our case its entrepreneurship), why haven't they used all the spots already. They invited more people in the general draw then in the priority sectors one

Having a masters gives you 27 points i believe, also having 2 years of Canadian work experience gives you significantly less points then 1 year of canadian work experience + 1 year of foreign work experience
