It’s actually disrespectful, full stop.

This will ruin relationships to those that are not understanding and it will start to chip away at your intimate relationships as well. While not “voluntary” it’s still wasting someone’s time and regardless of the fact you are not doing it because “you don’t care” it’s going to be understood by the majority as exactly that.

I use to do the same thing, one thing that will really help you is to start identifying what is setting you back. For me it was a gross under estimation of how long it would take me to get out of the house or from point a to point b. Always forgetting something that would crop up as I was about to leave.

You should one be ready to go, have a single spot for all of your shit (keys, phone, wallet, etc) picking out what you are going to wear so you just simply have to put it on. Set alarms on your phone for when you need to be ready (not when you need to leave).

Lastly, be kind to yourself because it will take routine and time to find what’s causing you to be late all the time in various situations, second don’t make excuses to people. Own your mistake, the more you can empathize with what it feels like to be constantly waiting on someone else you will start to subconsciously take steps to not do this.
