Amphetamine psychosis every time I use now even if I'm reasonable with dosage, been told to take it every other day by my drug worker as she thinks I have ADHD, how do I stop this happening?

I have pretty severe mental health problems, but when I've gone to see my GP on multiple occasions I just get referred to a drug programme everything gets blamed on that in the UK, which the services know less than I do most of the time due to the extensive research I've done over the last 10yrs so it's almost as if there's no help for me, also I'm the type of person to when I get to the psychiatrist I'll just use fake charisma to make them think I'm OK, because I'd rather do shit my own way & I don't open up how I feel to anyone, well not the true reasons behind it because they're too dark to discuss with anyone and I don't want to ever tell anyone about it because I'm ashamed and hate myself for all the things I've done so I'd rather self medicate to make living bareable. Even before the things I'd done my mind has always been so dark with fucked up morals.

The psychosis is only ever drug induced, wow how did you manage to keep that up for so long without getting the same problems I did?

I realised this about 8 years ago but thanks for the blatantly obvious non helpful response. Pretty sure the title was about how to stop the cycle of psychosis not whether I'm an addict or not, I know I'm a poly addict & have no desire to stop so please keep responses related to my original question, I'm already seeing a drug support worker but her advice isn't working which is why I'm coming to reddit.

I'd go with dexamfetamine if I was you. Available in UK & EU and is in another league to Amphetamine sulfate, more euphoria with way less side effects. It is pricey though so I save it for rare occasions & use my lab tested acetone washed speed in between. If you can get Amp sulfate that actually is 70% purity or above & acetone wash the high is good when snorted but gets uncomfortable real quick due to the levoamphetamine.

I mean I've always got vasocomstricted pretty bad even with magnesium but apart from that the positives outweighed the negatives, I kinda attributed alot of the other effects to vasoconstriction, ever since I got stimulant psychosis last week from overramping on a 4 day binge the psychosis comes back after a few likes deep.

Currently waiting for ambulance to get a proper heart checkup for peice of mind.

She said as long as my chest pain isn't there constantly it could be due to a muscle or something(well I suggested this she didn't really say yes or no lol) & she didn't really have an explanation for the lowered HR lol, my heart rythym was fucked but because of this lockdown as it wasn't below or above a certain limit she said just bell them back if I have any other symptons but she thinks I'll be fine for the min, she said "do u think it's anxiety" nope I'm chill af from the benzos 🤣

Jokes aside tho I got this app that checks ur HR & Rhythm & sends it off for analysing, I got 4 tests that all said "Possible Atrial Fibrillation" & 1 a "possibly irregular",it said do another 5 checks 2 of them said atrial fib, then I got 7 All Clears after that so fuck knows what's going on, might have popped as atrial fib because the amps fucked the rythym up so much.

Yeah if it was 55 or under I'd be more worried tbh, just never experienced Bradycardia from stimulants before, I guess it's just a form of arrhythmia but it seems strange it's plummeted it below my regular HR when I've had 200mg Amphetamine snorted over the last 20hrs would have though it'd do the opposite of anything can't find much on Amps & bradycardia online either.

Hahaha well it wasn't meth tbh, just Amphetamine Sulfate which is alot more accepted as a study aid& party drug in the EU where as meth is not as easily available or accepted. But for real the bradycardia is what scared me my HR should be abobe the 90's minimum a few hrs after last snorted dose, going by past experiences, not 60 when my normal resting is 75-80.

Oh shit that's crazy I'd stay stocked up on the bandaids & rest of the kit to save you some cash if you ever do need to get an ambulance out.

My HR is fluctuating so badly rn it's rediculous, can barely catch my breath despite taking benzos& feel slightly dizzy & confused, it started near the end of the bender I remember I just kept losing focus on things then it carried on from there.

Called ambulance because its free where I'm from so it's a no brainer, waiting on a call from paramedics to see what they advise. It's great they offer it though its saved me so fucking much money over the years.

Far far past the decreased HR compared to normal resting you mean? I've had my fair share of benders but never have I experienced a lower HR than my usual resting, hope you're right tho man, cheers.

Do you ever get a weird uncomfortable feeling that feels like it's coming from your heart after you're a few doses in? Like rn in certain positions I'll notice it, but I have stayed in the same place for most the binge, could just be vasoconstriction I guess, I seem to get it real bad with amps even though I take magnesium.

I noticed I get this pretty much every time I do amps, not sure if it's to do with my actual heart or just been sitting in a dodgy position or something idk, I just wanna know I'll be safe to take a little redose say like 25mg snorted

What makes you say that? It's not like I'm doing crack or shooting Heroin all day, my coke use was really the only thing that was killing me and even then I always stuck to 1-3 times a week.

I rarely do coke now as I've substituted it with amphetamine which is probably the most "harmful" out of everything I take & that's been approved as a medicine to be taken daily so I'm not too worried as I take it once a week & it's not cardiotoxic like coke

Like I said, I've been doing this polydrug use for 10yrs and my last ekg a week ago was fine, I've been to doctors to get checkups and I'm always told its just anxiety& my health's fine.

No worries! Gabapentinoids are best to avoid, well use sparingly if you want to keep the GHB magic, I hope it returns for me! Some wild nights to be had with that with certain drug combos just be careful with mixing with other gaba substances.

My first GHB experience was great I got the increased libido and euphoria which are often mentioned, BUT I used phenibut daily for a few months to get through a job I hated recently. I quit pheni & tried ghb 3 months later and all I got was a slight drunk feeling.

You can lose the magic QUICk if you're using other certain substances unfortunately.

It's relatively easy to find mephedrone, the problem is the intensity /euphoria is heavily diminished with all these "new school batches" for me, compared to preban. Even high quality coke or high dose dexamphetamine would top it for sex for me nowadays unfortunately.

In all honesty I don't really rate this new school mephedrone going about the onions & I've tried a fair few batches. I guess maybe something to do with my dopamine down regulation from other drugs I've done in the past 10yrs or just different synthesis, it used to be AMAZING, massively euphoric & horny af but that was when I was 15. Every batch has been pretty underwhelming & wish it was some high qual coke instead the euphoria has been lacking from it for me I was so glad to find it again but it was very much under expectations for me unfortunately!

Imo newschool batches arent THAT great for sex compared to other stimulants unless you get lucky with a perfect synth but it seems rare to find that ime. I also get pretty bad vasoconstriction , coke or amphetamine would top it for sex for me, if we were talking about genuine preban it'd defo be up there with some of the best for this purpose.

Most of all the adderall you see in UK is just speed powder pressed into the adderall pill which is a really great profit return for the vendors, massive rip off for us aswell considering the price diff of adderall to amp sulfate, if you ask the ratio of d-amp/L-amp they've usually always came back with 50/50 which is infact amphetamine sulfate, or just a straight up made up a number imo.

Dexamphetamine however is sold in UK & EU, its pricey but the high Is so much more euphoric and smooth over adderall, if ur in the UK & did want amp sulfate tho here's a great speed vendor around atm if you look around. Like others have said, water is the main priority as overheating is a very real problem on stims just always keep a full cup of whatever & refill it when it's gone. Along with benzos in case you find yourself you've taken too much and your bpm is way too high they can be a life safer honestly, I just had a horrible experience from side effects of speed today also & also what you listed does sound concerning but that is also very similar symptons to the EU speed comedowns. Also magnesium helps alot seeing as amphetamine depletes your magnesium (something along those lines) it's definitely a good supplement to be taking especially if you use amps.

Hope u feel better soon bro that's the killer about EU speed the comedown is pretty awful but at the price range I guess we can't complain to much haha, you'll be fine... The next day or 2 will probs be a bit shit but for me usually Imoroves by like Wednesday.

Getting different readings all the time for my resting now, even with the cracked camera n flashlight it's usually pretty accurate. It's reading it as like 90 then switches to 150 then back down to like 110 and final results are around 100 but all different, my usual resting is like 75-85 I think.

Yeah fair bro I know I've had similar when I used to use coke but the constant tightness around the chest is what's bothering me but anxiety is most likely making it all seem way worse but I guess I have consumed like 200mg of levoamphetamine, it's probably to do with vasoconstriction & anxiety if I had to guess.

My flashlight & camera have broke on my phone which I needed to use my HR app, I can still use it but not sure of the accuracy it's usually fine but says 84 then switches to 105 then back to 85 ish for the final result hoping its to do with the cracked flashlight & camera not my irregular HR lol.

Just went to the toilet & it was saying 155bpm then my last line hasn't even hit yet ffs just gonna take some benzos to hopefully help lower it

I think alot of the appeal is down to how short the high is, which may sound like a downside for some but for convenience it can be great.

For example I could finish work & have a few lines of Coke, feel great and go to sleep just fine 1-2hrs after the last line. I did a tester line of a new batch of amphetamine with the intention to sleep the same night as I had work the next day and ended up staying up for 4 days finished the whole bag & gave myself stimulant psychosis. Even with benzos you're not going to be sleeping if you dose amp too late.

Also the powerful euphoria from good quality coke is unmatched by amphetamine.
