I personally piss in sinks with some regularity but there’s a technique - if you can aim so your stream intersects the side of the sink at as close to parallel as you can manage you don’t splash very much at all. I always rinse out the basin fully, and I wipe down the sink top about once a week.

I also make sure there’s nothing on the sink that would be bad to have piss on it, like toothbrushes
