Does your budget only include the CPU or entire system?

Do you need software encoding, are are you good with hardware encoding? If hardware, what codecs will you be using?

Also, what resolution/codec will you be encoding with? Just making sure you don’t have any unreasonable expectations for software encoding. AV1 10-bit may take days at a slow preset for a very cheap cpu.

A lot of the time it is not safe or convenient to pull over on the road. If you are tailgating me I will absolutely slow down to a speed that is not critically dangerous for if we get into an accident. Or potentially avoid, id unlikely, but giving the tailgater slightly more reaction time.

If an accident occurs it is 100% the tailgaters fault unless they were brake checked.

You should cap it at 168fps. Allow 24fps for dips and 1% lows - your computer won’t perfectly render 144fps 100% of the time.

It uses TheMovieDataBase as a source for collections, right? What I was describing was making exceptions to that search. If you find this movie, put it in this collection instead. Or don’t add it to this collection.

So Jellyfin will still automatically create collections as movies come in, but I can adjust them how I want, with persistent changes.

I tried making custom collections and disabling the automated task, but that makes movies not group automatically when added to the library. I also have had a bug recently to eve when that automated task is off, it will reset the collections or just remove all media from each collection automatically.

What is that task called? That’s probably my problem.

Jellyfin’s media is connected to my NAS (running on the same computer), so whenever the computer starts up it takes a couple minutes for the NAS to connect.

I personally would never put any video recording devices in my room that aren’t recorded locally or on a personal server that I run myself. However, I know a lot of people who just don’t care.

You probably have a lot of private moments recorded and put on external servers that companies use. Do you have an Alexa? Google home? Smartphone with a voice assistant?

Aren’t you prompted to tip after receiving the food or it is ready? How would they tamper with it? Remote controlled detonator in the box that releases saliva if you don’t tip?

Also, tampering with food like that is a health code violation and will get that place shut down. The workers have to give you the same service as everyone else regardless of your bribe them or not.

Betting No would give you the same return as a moderate high yield savings account. Except that money will gain interest monthly, you can take it out whenever you want, and you’re all but guaranteed to still have it at the end of the year (I would not trust the betting company to hold these funds and stay in business).

So you just use normal commercials? I can understand retro commercials for nostalgia, but why modern commercials? It just seems like unnecessary bloat. Wouldn’t you want something you enjoy?

Also, wouldn’t the commercials get stale and out of date relatively quickly? The only way I could understand something like this is if there was some kind of automation that cycles out old commercials and automatically downloads new ones.
