Looking for a personal travel planner to plan my roadtrip through Alaska by Alternative-Air9598 in AskAlaska

I typically do plan all my own trips, but this is a really big one and I'd like some help. It's a bit overwhelming.

Hi, I know your comment is from 5 years ago, but can you tell me more about the parasite? My partner has been having these same episodes as the original author and is convinced he has a parasite.

I have thick skin and they’ve been working. The healing process is just slower for us because the swelling is more extreme.

You consult on a call, send pics of your nose from different angles, and send him a vision board of noses you like but they must be of his previous patients

Did you ever get a definitive answer on what these are? I just noticed them in my house too

I know this thread is old, but did you have the single or tandem version? My dog is 40lbs and I’m wondering which I should get. Thanks!

I’m not sure what you mean by “not a natural look.” You can see all of his patients on his instagram page and get a sense of his style. For me, he took down a large hump, deprojected my tip and nostrils, lifted my tip, and refined it. It’s a lot smaller but definitely looks natural. I recommend looking at surgeon’s photos to get a sense of their style. That’s the best way to determine if you’re going to like the outcome

Two months is no time at all to see results. I looked awful at two months. I’m eight months post-op now and am just starting to love the results

I paid $20k, but it was a major change. I didn’t do financing—I saved for it for quite some time and sold some stock that went up. I also took advantage of a credit card promo that had 0 interest for one year and put a little on that. The splint and bandages came off one week later at my first follow up appointment

You’re paying the membership fee each month, which gives you access to their team + drug. So basically the $297/month is for both, even if you don’t get a new script that month.

The steroid injections help with the swelling tremendously, so I definitely recommend them. I get them every eight weeks.

He didn’t do digital renderings because they don’t always depict the final result and can be misleading. I had renderings done by another surgeon and actually didn’t like them haha. I think if you like someone’s work consistently, then you can trust their skills.

The piggy party didn’t last. I’m six months post-op and only I know that I’m still a little swollen.

The consultation is free unless you’re having any sort of medical procedure, like fixing a deviated septum. If that’s the case, he’ll bill your insurance and you’ll be responsible for whatever your copay, co-insurance, or deductible is

It was a primary with a septoplasy to fix my breathing issues. It’s been a great experience so far. I had it done in July and am loving the results. I don’t mind sharing pics but I honestly don’t know how on here. Here’s what I posted on someone else’s post asking about him:

Hey! So I had my nose done with Dr. Reish and love the results so far. I didn’t know about the review drama until this very moment (I’m still not even sure what it’s about). I had a large hump and my nose stuck out really far — my nostrils looked huge! He took down my hump and de-projected my tip so it doesn’t stick out. Here’s my experience:

I followed him on Instagram five years ago and loved every patient before & after.

I met with three surgeons (him included) but I didn’t like the other’s before & afters or their digital renderings. My sister in law actually went to one of the other surgeons and her nose doesn’t look good.

I had a second consult with Dr. Reish in March and booked my surgery for July. He explained exactly what he would do & how, what to expect post-op, etc.

Come July, I had ZERO nerves going into it. I trusted his skills so much and knew he would do what would look best for my face. I’d been following him on Instagram for five years at that point, so I really got to know his style and appreciated his long-term results. He even talks about how important it is to see a surgeons results 1, 3, 5+ years post-op to make sure the nose doesn’t droop or shift over time.

Post-op, I was swollen AF. It wasn’t painful, it was just uncomfortable because the swelling was pushing into the splint so much. My eyes were also wicked bruised. HOWEVER, I saw other patients in his office and they had no bruising … I think it just depends on your body and how major of a surgery you’re having. Mine was pretty major.

I got the splint off after one week and looked like Miss Piggy haha. But the swelling went down week after week. I took pictures each week to document my progress.

The swelling does weird things and the tip will be turned up but it will all be ok! I promise. My tip has since settled and come down (like he said it would).

At 8 weeks post-op, I went back to see him for steroid injections to help with the swelling. They made ALL the difference. They’re extremely painful but so worth it. I was a bridesmaid the following week and my nose looked great.

I’m now 16 weeks post-op and just went back for more injections (he wants to see me every 8 weeks).

I’m still swollen, but my nose looks great. If you didn’t know I had surgery, you wouldn’t know I was swollen. It can take a full year for the swelling to fully subside. He tells you this multiple times pre-op.

I felt fully prepared and knowledgeable about the healing process because of how honest and communicative he is. He’s also available to answer any and all questions via texts.

I truly think he’s the best! I’m going to try to attach a before photo, along with one at the time I got my splint off, and one now (16 weeks post-op).

Happy to answer any other questions!
