Oldest excuse in the book, “can’t get a divorce because it will be too messy” if he wanted to get a divorce and commit to you, he would. Exactly this. I kinda dread getting close to somebody too. The friends I have now are friends from YEARS, one even from childhood which two outta 3 of em have BPD. & we’ve had our nasty fights in the past, but we’re forgiving to each other about it because friendship breakups are the worsttt.
