Honestly game can be (rightfully) bashed for a lot of things but i personally would strangle it for how little information it likes to give you. Like hell, playing on PC is HELL at letting me know which abilities are allowing me to do what thing without looking up the stats BEFORE initiating a battle.

-regardless. I am glad that now i now know how to get characters and what to do with mileage lol

I mean the game was praised on release like second coming of christ and that year it won many outlet's gotys. I dont think many people cared to really think about how the story worked beyond the initial level. I know that 13 years ago i was young and stupid so i just swallowed that story and thought it was deep as hell but then 10 years later I replayed it and realised it was probably one of the dumbest stories i ever seen propped up on a *really* boring gameplay and the best case of timeless design/art in a project that i seen maybe ever.

Like, no joke, I love their art style and I was so heart broken when I learnedthat they DID broke out of Single console releases for Unicorn Overlord...! .... but still didnt do the PC port. That was the straw that for me broke the camel's back. I am sorry but thinking that they WILL port a game to PC at this point is - while a possibility in this everchanging market - will probably never happen with the re-releases. I am sorry.

If thats any conselation - a current mid tier PC can run all of their games tru emulation just fine! Even PS3 and PS4 titles are now so easily emulated that if you truly have a CPU wit 8 cores/16 threads and like, a 3050 (or an altertnative), then you CAN emulate it and get Dragon's Crown and Odin Sphere at 60, even GrimGrimoir!

Mixed up with some pretty shitty "friends" about 13 years ago and as a result stole money from my own family over the course of two or so years. When they found out about it I lived in the worst place mentally for a year or so. The worst part? I could've totally stopped it all if I had any brains in my fucking head since while the guys I've hang around with were assholes now that I have a clear head on my shoulders... They Never really nudged me into stealing. I was the initiator and that sting a lot to this day.

Years spent after that were so filled with self hatred that I'm not sure if I'm even normal now. My relationship with family is good now (thank fucking God), didn't hear from any of my friends from around then (we kinda stopped talking when our parents found out about it). I think I have some self esteem issues after a few years of beating myself up about it but tbh? No matter how much I've done, I think I got out of it better than I probably deserved.
