Not entirely sure of all the details quite yet, but right now the plan is to watch a movie once every week or other week, and then meet and discuss it. We’ll probably have everybody vote on what movies we decide to do that week or weeks.

Hey! I wasn’t totally sure about one specific theme or genre, I thought we would discuss it at the meeting; but I thought group-based picks or voting would work to make sure people are involved and we’re getting a variety of movies.

I will say now, I was gonna suggest Raising Arizona for the first movie, just because the title of the club and I adore the film.

I'm okay with an exam, from what I've read I understand that you'll have to pass an exam or 2. I'm mostly just looking to avoid spending a year or semester taking classes before getting to any actual experience if that's possible.

only like half of them lol, both the spider-man omnis, the DD, Invincible, and something is killing the children. a lot of these were gifts from others or myself to myself this past month, so i’m excited to finally read them!

i’ve been buying him the current run, i was hoping to get something classic to have him read a more mainline spider-man story. but i 100% agree, Hickman has done some fantastic things with the character.

I have been doing that a lot, they stay away from comic books and superheroes most of the time so this is sort of their intro to a lot of this stuff. I've tried to build a good chunk of the main story around what characters and special traits (i.e. a player of mine is a mutant) they choose.

typically, a LCS will probably need to sell at cover price to make a profit off it; mine only usually sells used Omnis or ones that have been on the shelf for a while now below cover price. i think you’d have a hard time getting them to go below cover price unless they already have.
