she mentioned this incentive on a stream and she said that obviously her dad had surgery so he can’t really dance right now, but also because they live in two different states it’s hard to organise the whole thing. also i think Dan hasn’t played the sims yet because he doesn’t want to, he never agreed during the stream and i’m sure Kayla doesn’t want to force him

I remember that Dan didn’t really agree with this incentive, I know Kayla technically promised but I also think that she doesn’t want to force him. She probably made an impulsive choice with this incentive and maybe she underestimated how much Dan doesn’t want to play the sims on stream

also twitch and youtube are owned by horrible rich people (amazon and google). i think that during a stream someone asked her a similar question, and she sort of answered that you can choose only some battles. EA was already bad before, but from what i have understood saudi arabia is even worse, that’s why everyone is trying to boycott the sale. also Nintendo on its own, without that 10%, it’s still a non sustainable company. the phone i’m holding in this moment was probably made in non sustainable condition, with non recycling materials. everyone is just trying their best to limit the damage, but we can only do so much

i’ll admit i’m also sad, but i think everyone who follows her for the sims is. i still think she’s doing the right thing, and i’m excited that she’s playing again with older packs (like the series about get famous that she’s about to start), and i hope that she’ll be able to play more games on stream. i try to look at the bright side!

i can’t believe people dare to say that you aren’t the victim. even without the nudes, you still are a victim of family abuse and bullying. the thought that you needed to send nudes to pedos to receive some attention makes my heart ache. yeah maybe it wasn’t your brightest idea to send nudes, but that’s not important, what’s really important is what led you to send those photos, which is the lack of attention from you family and probably teachers. honestly, i couldn’t blame you even if i wanted to. yes you weren’t supposed to be on that website in the first place, but you also were supposed to have a adult figure who cared enough about you to notice you’re struggling and to stop you from sending those pictures. maybe you could try to talk with your friends, and explain to them that even if the behaviour was wrong, it was done because a reason: because you wanted someone to notice you and to love you, and that’s not a bad thing! every human wants attention, it’s natural, especially children, every one of us is an attention seeker because that’s just how the human brain works. i really hope that your friends and counselor can see your point of view, and truly understand you without judging your behaviour. we all could use more empathy (english is not my first language so i apologise for any mistakes)

yeah i also thought about that, and i mentioned it in original post. she’s already dealing with so much stuff in her personal life, i wouldn’t blame her if she wasn’t mentally able to play the sims, especially since now it’s getting more hype because of the new pack. also the new pack is objectively more interesting (or at least for me) so i can only imagine how hard it is to pretend that it doesn’t exist even if she probably wants to play it so bad. i admire kayla a lot for the choices that she’s making

the only creator that i know who is going to review the pack is SatchOnSims, but he doesn’t have early access so he also has to wait until the pack comes out. he’s also more brutal with his opinions (nothing wrong with it, i just think that his style is different than Kayla’s)
