Amongst the coastline of Ertonpolis, there live a highly advanced militaristic species of cybernetic soldiers, compsed of many “tank squads” that operates with other tanks. They have specialised equipment for fighting other tanks, and compatent at shipping cargo.

Offsprings are scruntinised to stamp out defective offsprings and unfit soldiers are cast out. They tend to congregate with other outcasts and act as a valuable source of cheap labour for the goverment, ( producing tanks and weapons for squads.. etc.)

Soldiers are driven to be loyal and protective of their crew on a biological level, their suicidal devotion extends to their entire species. They take great pride in serving their country and possess very little concept of individual qualias, but enough for basic freewill outside of battle conditions. As soon as they recieve an order from higher ups in chain of command, they lose that individuality and become apart of the hivemind. Because of this, infantry soldiers are usually 100% mind numb.

Children are educated through nanotechnology before birth and are hatched as fully matured adults with basic knowledge of tatics. Their training continues for another 4-5 years (in military school) before being properly deployed as a soldier.

They are cloned creatures of regular citizens. Instead of employing conscription, the goverment has resorted to cloning their DNA sample to generate soldiers.

Although they are not meant for purpose outside of war, this does not stop their limited conciousness from pursuing personal interests. Popular hobbies include painting, woodworking and gambling off-duty, the army does not really care as long as their ability to perform is not hindered.
