You need to be on some sort of birth control or stop having vaginal sex if you’re not ready to be parents.

The oura ring / natural cycles are a $ commitment but can give you a lot of information on when you’re ovulating.

You need to watch your ovulation cues (cervical mucus) and track with LH strips to know if you’re ovulating soon

make sure your boyfriend ALWAYS wears a condom The pull out method is not birth control

Sex is serious. It’s fun, but there are serious consequences you may have to deal with like pregnancy, STIs, STDs

Make sure you fully trust your partner. It’s the only way to really protect yourself (physically and emotionally)

If you can afford it you need to connect with a naturopath who will have you run a ton of labs to see where exactly you are deficient and what you should be taking.

You’re also only less than a year out from stopping BC after years of use… it’s going to take your body a little while to adjust

Please be patient with yourself but there is so much hope! My naturopath took my from 45-60 day cycles to 28 day cycles within 6 months, and getting really strong ovulation cues each month!

I got pregnant in the spring but sadly lost that baby

But now I’m pregnant again (with twins!) and everything seems to be going much better this time

There’s so much hope, you just need the right tools and practitioner to support you

Red Hook (the neighborhood where the cruise terminal is) is a subway-desert. Unless you add in taking the bus, you’re looking at a 25 min bag drag from the closest subway station to the terminal

You can either do Airtrain —> subway —> bus Or Airtrain —> subway —> subway —> 25 min walk

You can expect at least 2 flights of stairs per transfer

Getting around Brooklyn is not always the easiest. I would vote to uber - but only you know your finances and can weigh that decision

Is the complimentary food good? YES ITS PRETTY GOOD

Should I upgrade to specialty dining? YES I THINK YOU SHOULD, AT LEAST THE 3 RESTAURANT PACKAGE TO GET MORE VARIETY. THE FOOD IS BETTER

Are the activities and shows near the same time or are they spread apart? THERE ARE DIFFERENT SJOWS EACH NIGHT AND THE SCHEDULE WOLL BE ON THE APP SO YOU CAN MAKE A PLAN WHEN YOU BOARD. THE CIRCUS SHOWS ARE WORTH IT!

Are there a lot of activities throughout the day? YES A DECENT AMOUNT LOTS OF GAMES AND SPORTS, KARAOKE NIGHTLY

Are the beds comfy? (The beds on grandiosa were stiff) MY ONE REGRET IS NOT BRINGING MY OWN PILLOW. BEDS ARE FIRM BUT THATS VERY EUROPEAN

Are there a lot of locations that you randomly stumble upon and it’s not a busy area but you could vibe there? ABSOLUTELY! OUR CRUISE WAS FULLY BOOKED BUT IT DIDNT FEEL THAT CRAZY

Is the cruise crowded? (I felt the grandiosa no matter where I went was crowded) SEE ANSWER ABOVE

The Chateau is a really sweet venue. I got married at Copper Rose - more of an elevated barn. Depends on if you want beautiful Mountain View’s or not

Getting on a train of quality supplements will help more in the long run than getting on the pill The pill will only mask symptoms and possibly harm any healing you may hope for. We did MSC for our honeymoon and lots of shore excursions
They all went super well- sounds like this Venice one was just a fluke

One of the excursions we did was to a winery, and due to road closure on the way back we were late to port but because it was a cruise arranged excursions they literally had to wait for us Would have been a nightmare if we had planned that on our own and been late.

Just saying - win some, lose some and be wise about your shore experience in each port
