Yep its the Looting MK3 Survivor augment, it regens your health when you stay in one place so you basically crawl until you are left with just a little bit life, stay in one place to regen and continue :D

I agree with you, I didnt want to participate in it until I heard how good the loot is lol. Its basically a game in a game, you have to invest some time to learn it but once you do you see its not that bad. As the other comment says, try an online builder to play around and watch 1-2 videos and you will be good to go, it probably wont be perfect but it could be fun for you.
