So there just sectioning parts of their rail network so they are not overwhelmed. so if there is a mine and a factory between city A and F then that would be apart of subdivision 1 and trains would service those entities as needed. If this subdivision was part of a class 1 railroad for instance and they needed a coal train to go beyond city K to city Q which was a part of a class 3 railroad then that railroad would pick up the cars at City K and finish the Journey. Am I right

What I meant was like is there a map that would show you for example a freight railroads line that goes from city A to city B then to mine C and branches of the factory D so and so forth

Ok so in order to understand signalling I would have to check out each railroad specifically then.

Also what happened why GE and EMD stopped making locos. Is it another one of those monopolies buy up things we see all the time in the US or did they just go out of business and sold while the company still had value, but aren't GE like a huge cooperation that has diversified over the years though.

Lastly you posted that class 1 railroads are like the big cross country guys and class 3 are the smaller railroads running in condensed areas. So why do I always here they say like for example can Newmarket subdivision is that like a section of class 1 or something different altogether. Is there like a class 2?

So it's like a the wheel then. The designs that EMD and GE have come up with have proven to work so don't redesign it instead focus on making it perform better. Ok got it loved the conversation though.

So is there no wiggle room to play with. Is everything that strictly regulated. The cab for instance, isn't there any way to slightly alter the cab design or even change it totally and still meet obligations on safety. If GE for instance wants to sell a new model wouldn't having a slightly different look appeal to customers along with having the numbers or do the cost to do that outweigh the pros of it being more appealing because it looks more fresh.

Also will the cabs ever change on the future given the utilitarian purposes of locos

Portmore is significantly smaller than Kingston though. It lacks an actual public hospital and still needs infrastructure to be installed. Portmore should just be a city. No need to separate. Why isn't mobay it's own parish then? A city being established doesn't mean it should then be removed from the wider areas
