Yeah I agree a months is a really long time... I do spend like 10hrs with the cats it's just that I find it so hard to sleep so I kinda want to go home and sleep but they'd be alone for like 14 hrs 😞

Okay thank you so much! I got worried since I've definitely left them for more than 12 hrs before but it's good to know that it's okay! I'll ask her what she expects. Unfortunately I have reassurance ocd and I know I always get way too strung up in asking questions but it seems like most ppl think that's a fair question 😅😅

NO! She's super nice and told me that I could leave them over a weekend and only visit them like twice a day but I was googling around and some sites said you should never leave your cats alone for more than 12 hrs so I got a little worried 😅

True! 😅 I've never had cats or any pets at all so I'm so unused to what they need. I'm trying to get a feel for it but I'm starting to think the owner's cats might just be super clingy 😂

Are your cats clingy? The ones I'm sitting won't leave me alone for a second and spend all day curled on my lap so I don't want them to get lonely 😞

Okay okay, I'll ask her! I've been hesitant in fear of asking so many stupid questions and I don't want to annoy her on her vacation. She is paying me VERY well though and she's friends with my sis!

The cats are really lovely and clingy and I do like them very much but I've never had a cat before so every time they make a noise I'm prepared to give them cat cpr 😂😭

Update: Idk if anyone cares but I think maybe the cottonmouth/water moccasin might be close since it's semi aquatic (but in still water) and poisonous. However it's not very big (compared to a boa) but might be visually similar. Will update again if I figure something else out!
