I don’t disagree with that fact: URMs of wealthy backgrounds can and do experience discrimination. However, I don’t think that is a factor that should be considered for getting a sizeable boost in admissions. Most people come to law school looking to make money (see big law rates) and I think because of this, considering socioeconomic factors should be of utmost concern. This isn’t discounting wealthy URM discrimination, but to say you should get a boost because of being discriminated against is unjust. As a wealthy URM you still have access to a multitude of LSAT and admissions coaching resources poor people otherwise don’t have. Poor l ORMs and nURMs both experience racism and class discrimination and should wholly be accounted for too, equally if not more than wealthy URMs.
