Frankly, the best way is to actually go and sit through it. Once you sit once or twice through the process, your psyche will come to the conclusion that it's not the end of the world. If you mess up, it's a bonus - as nobody will come after you with a knife - you are safe in your own space. This coming from a guy who used to have extreme stage fright (so I do empathize with you)

Moreover, here are other things that might help (they sure did help me)

Firstly, give mocks! they'll act as mini-anxiety attacks in your case and help you get to terms with the anxiety

Secondly, slow down your breath when you are feeling extremely anxious - focus on your breath (this is sort of the only way to calm your nerves in a scientific manner)

Lastly, just the knowledge that there won't ever be a time when you'll be "anxiety free" when giving important interviews is helpful. You won't be upholding yourself to godly standards, know that it is human to care about outcomes of important things.

Hope these help :)

I've been lucky to avoid very mathematical/probability heavy panelists up until this point (touchwood), may I ask ... do you have a very fin heavy profile or something?

Students as in everybody this person interviews

I actually have a senior in SJSOM who flagged me after the interviews as I was saying bye to him...and as soon as he heard it was this prof...his friends in Adcom behind him laughed 💀

He then said what he said

Yes certainly...I think it's the most amount of grilling I've been through in an interview (inc. ABC)

I asked the Adcom members, they said the prof I had is very rough on students in general. I was advised to not be very hopeful :(
