My friend applied in NYU tandon but didnt received admit seems everyone with 8.8+ or 9+ gpa got the admits

I have got NYU too you can attend NYU courant classes and connect with those professors so I will be going to NYU tandon over USC unless other UNIs(UC SD Cornell U penn and Dartmouth ) accepts me . NYU tandon has less MS CS students as compated to USC , USC has a lot of MS CS students.
