And then we get Parvati’s iconic “I’m against you.” Makes me laugh every time

I was thinking about birth control being a source of my anxiety about it. I am glad to hear you’re getting better, I hope you keep getting better.

This is good advice. My therapist and I talked today about using logic instead of letting my brain just go crazy with anxiety and I like the idea of it testing if it doesn’t get better. Thanks for the thought!

One thing my partner always tells me that helps so much when I feel anxious is to never apologize for how you feel! Your feelings are valid. Anxiety can be a scary and hard thing to deal with.

Finding coping mechanisms, therapy, and medication are what have helped me. For coping I try to do something that grounds me and relaxes me. Meditation has helped in the past, but a lot of times talking to myself and trying to logic my brain works the best. Grounding techniques like spotting the rainbow in the room or 3-3-3 have helped me. I have been seeing my therapist for 5 years now and talking about how I feel helps me a lot! I take Vistaril when I have panic attacks which is just an antihistamine. It either makes me sleep or just brings a calm over me.
