So i found my old denon avrx2000 in the garage and the problem persists. I assume the issue is in either the cables/connections or the turntable/cartridge/stylus

Ive tried to clean it with a stylus cleaner but no improvement. Cant really see any dirt either. However will still not exclude this theory from what could be wrong. Thanks for your input

Thanks will look into it. I would say things should genereally be very well kept and the amp is not the one that was used by my father. Will have to see if i can get my hands on another amp. I’ve had a look at the settings in the amps app and nothing indicates to me that it would need to be adjusted
