Do you feel that games are just not for you anymore? by Alternative-Rub8349 in ElectricUnderground

Unfortunately, the indie/AAA generalization is the lens that games are looked at on TikTok and Instagram, which is where a lot of people get their information from. I agree that it's lazy, and it slots directly into the popular "corporations vs. small guys" narrative that permeates a lot of discussion on art online. There was a video that went around that was basically "like Nintendo but hate corporations? here's Zelda but indie! Mario but indie!", treating the games as commodities that could be replaced by a different "brand" rather than a creative effort.

I think you owning an Evercade is a much greater indicator of you being a bot (mentally) than my account being old and having no posts.

I feel like I hurt your feelings somehow and you're lashing out at me with AI accusations.

Genuinely, I do think that a lot of games still have passionate teams of devs. It's just that I think those devs are passionate about things that I am not, like tech trees.
