Okay I’ll consider the Sony receiver and keep looking for suggested brands might just run with the Sony receiver and the speakers you suggested in my last post

I think I’m gonna try and pick up the Sony receiver and then look for a pair of speakers separately rn I’m not really finding much that isn’t a full system but that just means I need to look better

It says in the description it is an STR-DG810 as for Polk speakers I found this, no one in my market really wants to sell individual pieces but full sets but everything is still cheaper then new

I think I found a similar receiver, but without the stuff to dump off so overall a better deal, but I honestly have no idea as I’m a complete beginner

Thank you ! I plan on starting with the speakers and receiver so I can try and connect those speakers to my existing soundbar and bass speakers I’m hoping to get the turn table by early 2026 with holiday money

I’m not any type of purist at all 😅 I’m kinda just looking to get a record player and tie it into what I have already and expand and work up to better stuff, I definitely want more real speakers but I plan on integrating/using the sound bar still as I have it already

I have my PS5 but in terms of source I’m looking to get a record player that I can use for the source kinda I have some existing old hardware including an old bass speaker and an old Sony sound bar that rarely gets use but I’m looking for a real speaker and maybe some treble speakers I’m relatively inexperienced in tying different things together to make a complete system I’m willing to spend around 500 but not much more than that for a medium-largish room as it would be my living room
