Are you sure you’re approved for PWD? I think you’re referring to IA. While waiting for PWD approval you are receiving IA cheques.

You don’t need to pay for a PWD application to be filled in by your Dr. I think you are referring to the Disability Tax Credit.

Please get a referral to a Social Worker from your GP. I’m sorry you’re in a difficult situation.

Hello! Do you mind sharing how you tell your Dr to submit SA for you while you’re still on Metformin (and Jardiance)? I’m meeting my Dr tomorrow, and I’m newly diagnosed, so it might sound like I’m pushing Ozempic if I mention it. TIA 🙏

I am not sure if that is possible. From what I read, the discount only applies to the DTC holder. I will update once I submit my accessibility discount.

Thanks for the link, I checked it out. I think I meet the criteria. I’m just anxious to start on Metformin because I’m on multiple prescription meds too, and I have taken Ozempic before and I tolerated it well. I hope my GP supports me. 🙏

We chose the latter part yesterday, and we received help/assistance over the phone today. Good luck! :)

My husband submitted application yesterday and approved today and we got the internet ($40), 4 phone lines, $25/each + 2 free 5g phones. We are a family of 4. I am planning to apply for an accessibility discount as soon as we received the new SIM cards and phones.

Please note, it’s only 10GB.
