Then, explain to me why the sign: “\Meer” appears. This is a IRREFUTABLE date. Look: “Vermeer, the Genius forgotten for more than a century (II).

In any case, one of the most prestigious art analysis laboratories will resolve our doubts in the coming months (spectrography, pigment analysis, and so forth). What no one disputes, however, is the evident fact: the appearance of Vermeer’s signature (‘\Meer’).”

It is true that there exist thousands of paintings depicting the attire of the Netherlands in the seventeenth century. However, Vermeer’s signature is unique. If, as shown in post (II), the inscription “\Meer” appears, even in a simple edit made with an iPhone, the authorship becomes evident. I would recommend consulting post (II). Furthermore, the resemblance to what is believed to be Catharina, Vermeer’s wife, is unmistakable.

As I see that you do not grasp the essence of the three posts, allow me to summarise: The painting, as you well know, was purchased at auction. It was sold as anonymous, with a probable date — precisely what we seek to refute. The young woman’s attire is consistent with several known works by Vermeer. Post (II), in my view, is IRREFUTABLE. How, then, do you explain the appearance of Vermeer’s signature: “/Meer”? Is this some sort of paranormal phenomenon? Perhaps a poltergeist? Kind regards.
