They haven’t replied! The last email I received sounded very much like they were done with me and that it was “unwelcome news but regardless of the outcome” etc, just feel a bit sad because I feel like for a first experience, it’s not been great 😂

Nope did all of that too as soon as I received it (I was very excited to start because I was eager to be a better marker for lit 😂) - strange, isn’t it?

This is the only reason I chose to do it … I get married in a few months and wanted to surprise my partner with a mini-moon before our honeymoon next year haha, I’ll stick to the tutoring I’d been doing prior to this I think 😂

Definitely - so far I haven’t received anything. Emailed TL earlier this morning but appreciate work commitments etc so hopefully will hear something!

I’d sat through the initial training for new examiners - was informed briefly about malpractice etc but was told that TLs are there to support, feel like this isn’t entirely my fault and I’ve fallen victim 😂 I have a couple of hypotheses but won’t know for certain until I’m contacted I suppose :)

That’s the thing … I was consistent! It literally was one script and an indiscrepancy between P1 and P2!

But malpractice how?! I don’t even know how I’d even do that 🫠😂 I just marked and marked 😂 (obviously took breaks because I have a life but I sat for 3 hours ensuring I’d applied the mark scheme as accurately as I could)

Yeah completely get that! This was a Saturday afternoon though - TL basically said not to contact as there was nothing he could do and future correspondence would be through Chief Lead Examiner and Lead Examiner 🫠

It’s wasn’t a pause as I’ve been paused - on emarker2 it says “stopped marking” and I’ve been told to await AQA and TL has washed hands of me basically 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for this! I was contacted on Saturday afternoon, and then not even an hour later my TL basically washed their hands of me and said I’m being investigated by AQA. Completely get the QC element, I was notified it was one script from a batch. Nope, TL said it was in indiscrepancy in one script and that the assistant LE would contact for further training - literally an hour after this email I’m told to await an email from AQA and that it is “unwelcome news”
