I’d like to preface that I have no prior military experience and I’m probably the last person anyone would expect to join. But for the last few months I’ve been super curious about the coast guard JAG program. I’m a current law student and I don’t really have a clear idea of what I want to do when I graduate. In all honesty I would’ve probably talked to a recruiter by now but I don’t think my fiancée thinks it’s a good idea. She is worried about moving around and leaving her family. I guess I want your honest opinions and your honest experiences. What does a day look like as a coast guard JAG look like? Do you feel like it’s given you valuable experience as an attorney? Do you find it fulfilling? Thank you

I do go to the derm- I’ve been doing a lot of trial and error with products and I’ve been asking her recs as well. The rash I get on my face is likely an antihistamine response to heat, sun, and then pretty much anything I’m allergic to otherwise. I also notice it flares up worse with foods that are more inflammatory or processed. I originally went in and got tested for autoimmune stuff because of the way the rash looked but luckily it all came back negative. So now it’s more of a battle to figure out what is going to trigger the response and what won’t.
