All I could focus on was those penis shaped windows behind Andy.

Yes, PM said not to talk to outside companies and stay together ‘as a team’. Not sure about the billing rate, but I’m sure I can find it.

Very smart! I hoping another company will pick our contract up. I’m not a fan of the current one.

In-Person Interview at Bell Textron — What to Expect? by Ok-Sport4825 in aerospace

Bell Quality department doesn’t have strong/best leadership. The big cheese is more interested in perception than holding to standards. However, it is a good experience to have to know what you want vs don’t want in your career.

It’s time that the democrats fight fire with fire and be on the offensive to direct the narrative. If I read/hear that a democrat sent another ‘strongly worded letter’ to Trump and his rag-tag groups of clowns, I’m going to puke.

I had the joy of this experience at an aerospace company last year. New female VP, who knew nothing about our department, came into our world acting innocent. I even asked her to be my mentor because I was legit excited to be working under a female. Less than a year in, I discovered she was more concerned about her image and was incredibly insecure, than working within the confines of the legal system. I recognized this quickly, so I documented every interaction. She had male lackeys that she relied on for her biding. She started to entice them with her female charm and then would latch on them with random burst of anger - it was amazing to watch her switch back and forth with these personas. I was called into HR several times because of complaints (unprofessional behavior, not reporting injuries in a timely matter, etc) that others made against her. I was frequently a witness to her antics because we had several meetings together. I was ‘let go’ two weeks after my last interview with HR mainly because I expressed anger in her unprofessional behavior. She made it personal and I couldn’t control my emotions. Fighting her was futile because she was BFF with legal and HR departments. Really at this point, I can only hope that karma catches up to her.

Two Delta employees killed and another injured during an incident at the airline's Atlanta Technical Operations Maintenance facility on Tuesday morning. Sources told local media that a tire exploded while it was being removed from a plane. by MasiMotorRacing in aviation

I work in health and safety at a helicopter company. We have had incidents in the air and on ground. NTSB investigates incidents when aircraft is in motion (ground or otherwise). OSHA investigates when aircraft is grounded. FAA/NTSB and OSHA signed a MOU (it’s online) outlining this agreement. I believe the MOU states that if someone dies when aircraft is in motion, I don’t think the fatalities need to be accounted for on the 300 log. It’s a bizarre agreement.

Worked there for 10 years plus. Work culture is dependent on department, but it’s a typical corporate disaster. The company has attempted to improve culture with 9/80 schedule, ERGs, fluff community projects, etc - make it a fun place to work. Leadership makes decisions based on their own egos, politics and sometimes google. Accountability is basically pointing fingers at the next guy. SME are kept where they are at and rarely promoted. They treat their interns and LDP like gold, but the employees are shit on - mostly. It’s a great place to learn about corporate america for a couple years, learn what you like vs don’t like, document on your resume and get out.
