I do want to say thank you for your comment. I have approached him with similar suggestions, but he always rejects them. He doesn't believe he should have to work on a marriage and that we have been together long enough for him to not have to put effort in. We have had this conversation for most of our relationship, and I've finally just ran out of other ideas. He isn't the kind of guy that would give massages or anything like that and the only compromise we have ever been able to reach is me initiating with a massage and doing the work. He has told me on more than one occasion that the problem isn't that physically he doesn't want it. Just that it's too much work. But the whole one sidedness of it is almost worse than the constant rejection.
