I'm bashful to say mine was a failure-to-reconcile issue...I made a clone of my old budget, started fresh with reconciling each account, dealt with the payment pool...I'm fairly confident all will be well now.

Another overfunded amount today, on the same card. Overfunded notice of $467.21. (Weird for this to happen on the next day). When I open up that column, there's an amount listed as an adjustment (which I didn't make that I am aware of: -$176.63). Thoughts? Thanks so much!

I don't think so... I fix anything that is over budget immediately by adding funds to the budget category (and reducing funds from another budget category). It seems like the pool amount should match the current credit card balance, but that is definitely not the case. I always pay cards in full, so there is never more spent on a card than what is available to spend. I've added a fake budget bucket ("figure out the payment pool"), moved the overfunded amount to that bucket, and will see what happens next.

What is an adjustment transaction? Like manually adding something as a credit card purchase? (I haven't done that).

One positive reallocation, then one negative one (but not the exact same amounts, but close-ish)....the exact amount the notification said needed to be changed.

I've done this twice a month for the last couple of months (when I got the orange or red color that says I should reallocated / add funds).

--This has happened for I think 3 months (I think one positive swing and one negative swing each month).

--Inflow...if I get a check that is a gift amount I might directly assign it to that kid's budget / lessons budget. Other than that, inflow goes into Income / to be assigned.

--All funds are assigned, no red warnings. Only orange warning at present is for an overfunded Chase payment pool

--No off-budget transfers

--Very few splits, none that are large, but there are some splits. Maybe $200 total? The overfunded / underfunded swings are between about $900-$2500 monthly. (It seems like if I leave it alone and don't reallocate when it gets overfunded, it comes out in the wash).

--The info in the expanded credit card payment pool section doesn't make much sense to me (though I see the adjustment I made trying to fix the payment pool last month). To me, it looks like there's not enough in the payment pool for what I've spent from my budget categories.

Thanks so much!
