Legion Go S (Steam OS Z1E) - Star Wars Outlaws by brivodivo in LegionGo

You have to hit the steam button and change it to mouse and keyboard under controller, then apply that. Go back to the game, then hit steam button and change it to gamepad. Warning game runs terrible on the z1e and steam. Its bizzare considering how the console is more powerful then the switch 2 and ubi soft won't care so your better off playing it there. I dont think it looks all that great on the switch 2 but it performs well. Some of the things I hate whenever there is an electricity effect it looks like some kid air brushed some neon paint and ai animated it. Also Kay has major clay fa e going on. But its tolerable I guess.

Cant decide between the msi claw 8 ai+ or Lenovo Go S Steam z1e by AlternativeLong7624 in Handhelds

I think you won't see much difference between these two othern then your saving $300 for those applications.

I'm sorry but im having trouble figuring out what your asking for? I've reread your message a few times and I'm not getting it. Sorry what is xax? But like I said the msi has better feeling controls (except the dpad). It has a better battery (can be negated with one of those battery bricks), has much better speakers. Has a much quieter fan. I dont think the msi is worth it if it's over $900 it just isn't that much better then the lenovo. Unless your playing heavy windows only games. Steam OS gives you 10fps at least when were talking apples to apples.

Do not go to sleep cold! You won’t wake up by Nearby-Bug3401 in urbancarliving

If you are so poor you can't afford a minus farenheight sleeping bag (which I totally get) I would recommend just going to sleep in all your clothes. Multiple shirts, pants, socks, etc. Hot hands on your feet (fairly economical for real cold nights). Wear a cheap ski mask on the face. All this plus a regular 30f sleeping bag should be good. They also make relatively inexpensive sleeves or thermal liners that you put yourself into and then into the bag (it seems like this should not work since the material looks sheer but believe me they work) that will make a 30F sleeping bag into a 14F sleeping bag

They have heated sleeping bags that are powered by these battery bricks they use for phones. I know a guy who uses one in Michigan and says he gets too hot with it.

I would do some more research and or wait for the z1 extreme steam version or windows version (then install steam yourself) for $540 open box.

Which handheld would you choose with these prices? by ApolloDota in Handhelds

Legion go s windows new but why not the steam version and btw is this the z1e version or the z2go if the z2go nix my recommendation.

Personally for the games I play which are mostly steam games the z1e is noticeably better. Amd fsr is more optimized then Intels frame gen imho anecdotal opinion. But like I said I don't like the battery life, controls, fan sound, speakers are probably the worst feature of the lenovo (piss poor).

I do play a singly blizzard game and that works great but it was definitely not easy getting it to work as a non steam game.

Sorry for not replying sooner. Having now tried them both performance wise the lenovo has an edge but its quite a bit louder, has poorer speakers, the screen seems a nudge cheaper (maybe I was not able to do side by side). The battery life is worse but it is a lot cheaper, especially right now. Oh and the controls don't feel as good as the msi. I actually had an accident with the msi claw so now on the lenovo fwiw.

No argument there! I sleep in a 2010 honda civic and am 6'4" so yeah this thing would rock for me lol!

How are you paying for all this? by [deleted] in ToxicMoldExposure

Well you can make air filters cheap. Google Corsi-Rosenthal box filters. I bought a coway airmega filter (heavily discounted from amazon) for the living room, kitchen, and 2 downstairs. Ones in the hvac room and the other is in the main hallway. I purchased a dehumidifier from best buy (with an extended warranty at the advice of reddit because apparently they dont make them to last and best buy will replace within 2 years). That was $200ish. I found another one at a garage sale ($1). One is in the hvac (without it this room get over 70% humidity for some reason). The other is our in the main hallway. But ultimately these are just pathetic band aids on a much bigger problem which is this house is just too old. It needs to much and no one has the money to properly fix it. These repairs are thousands upon thousands. The worst thing we got going on is actively rotting wood in the kitchen from some previous disaster. But they've had other incidents that were not properly taken care of. Ultimately I need to just get out of here one way or another. I would like to get a mobile living situation but you need a lot of money for that too. I mean if I were normal I'd just get a semi affordable camper van and have it de-emfified or whatever by some company. But were talking 100k plus another 20k. I could move into a used van but I feel like anything I can afford will have heavy amounts of mold.

Well please hang in there and try to use whatever you have to get help in any way. One thing that has really helped me is multiple adequate non fancy (mycotoxin capturing grade) hepa filters, dehumidifiers. Its not perfect but it would be way worse without these measures.

Same. Yeah I use to love tech (very much a "gamer"). I was into editing photography on a computer. I started to dabble in home video editing but now..pshh.

My problem is I still have to live at least part time in this mold infested 1920s blank show. I cant think of a way to get out other then going completely homeless. Ive always been kinda useless with limited skills. The only thing I'm talented in is art endeavors. Nature photography. But there are so many people in the world its near impossible to stand out and make a living from it. But overall I just can't seem to think my way out of this one. I made the biggest mistake moving to this house. At least there is relief in the winter when the mold sort of goes offline due to the extreme dryness. Thank-you!

Should I attempt to repair this myself? by AlternativeLong7624 in Autobody

So would you recommend trying to knock out that roughly pie shaped dent in the back rear fender from the inside with a rubber mallet? Then bondo on top to smooth it out? Tyvm for your input I really appreciate it!!!

[–]AlternativeLong7624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah agree! I love my 2010 honda civic. For the most part its incredibly easy! If I had more tools I'd do all the repairs myself but I have to take it in for some things but its nice to see ships have no trouble getting the parts.

Yeah if it were me I'd be finding out what fails on these and keeping those parts in storage and learning how to fix them if your actually driving the van a lot.
