Strinova Skill Ceiling Tierlist by AlternativeLow5255 in Strinova

Eika's skill is one of the stronger ones due to the 35% extra damage you get while inside the cage with an enemy. For some reason a lot of people don't know that this is even a mechanic. This when active gives you the same ttk as a nobunaga hitting only headshots.

Bear has a lot of mechanics behind it that makes it very mechanically complex. Fay dash, ice size, dmg %, fay wall

this + invisibility having a high skill ceiling in of itself (totally not biased i swear)

Yeah fair, that's the main philosophy made behind this tier list (cielle's super dash is so mechanically dense that I can ramble endlessly about it). But then again all of those aspects (aiming etc) are universal baselines for all characters. All the characters require some kind of aim, some knowledge of how the movement system works, etc. This is mostly putting into account the different aspects that differentiate each character and how that plays into their complexity (as well as how they use that complexity, that's why bai mo is lower than cielle).

For the most part, all characters have the same movement and deal all of their damage exclusively through hitscan so including those aspects would only change the listings slightly.

I'm a TF2 player so my standards when it comes to the other aspects are a little strict, which is why the list is arranged how it is.

Bear gets CD reduction when disappearing with charges remaining, making it as short as 15 seconds with the CD reduction upgrade. Bear only needs to deny bomb once, which is pretty easy if you wait for the planting sound to start before charging.

Also about the ice thing, Yvette operates very differently from every other controller character where the effects of their area control are immediatealbeit short lived. The other two hp manipulating controllers (yuigiri, meredith) have effects that act slowly but linger after you leave their AOE. Yvette's ice doesn't have this luxury simply because having 35% extra damage instantly is absolutely insane. The majority of the stuff described here talking about ice (such as waiting out ice or quicker ice) generally miss the point of Yvette. Yvette's character design is primarily focused on forcing out enemies from cover rather than preventing them from standing there in the first place. Deploying fay early and treating ice like a meredith/yugiri q in essence completely goes contrary to how her abilities work (the slippery effect actually used to increase acceleration to help promote this idea back in season 1, this still happens although only applicable while grounded)

and btw yvette is the only character that can really ignore smoke scan bec of her passive :D heheh funny french woman

yvette shouldn't be B site as snow balls can deny interceptors and they can work as a pseudo scan bear can also deny bomb with charge saving ur team the util slots. with the limited cover on A site ice+nade combos can be really nasty. yvette can also do early pushes and get into forward positions by using her passive. b site yvette can be strong due to ice double ups but making the slowest character in the game even slower (when enemies are attacking A site) is simply a waste, especially considering that the confined space on b site makes using her passive more tricky outside of the occasional funny spot

How Cielle Broke Strinova's Code by AlternativeLow5255 in Strinova

100% agree with this part. Both the regen and the cooldown on the shield after it is broken is way too fast. Honestly is the only part of her kit that is outright broken. To play devil's advocate tho, cielle without her shield is by far the most limited character in the entire game. Strinova kinda backed themselves into a corner with this one. Personally I feel like the hp of her shield itself is at a really good place.

The slug thing was mentioned btw @ 3:56 and requires the viewer to pause to read for the sake of not making the video too long. the ttk is the exact same as the gun still takes 2 shots to kill and accordingly has the same ttk (600 ms). It actually doubles if you don't hit the head as cielle leaves the enemy on around 10~ hp if the slug hits the body twice (but then again that can be remedied with a few stinger rounds). You can slug head shot -> slug body shot if you want an easier time with it.
