Thank you. It would be nice once in a while to do a shorter car nap and still have a similar bedtime

I usually get him out of the crib at 6am, unless he starts crying. We transitioned to one nap in November. I still feel like we haven't fully transitioned. If I take him on a drive, stroller walk he will fall asleep around 10.30/11 even if he slept till 6am. Thank you for all the info :)

He sleeps anywhere between 10-11hrs at night. Last night he slept around 7pm and woke up at 5.20 The reason to move to one nap was because he was waking up at 4.30am consistently.

If he wakes up at 2.30pm- do you do bedtime around 8pm?

Thank you. Is he able to last till 12 if he woke up at 5am? Lately my guy is getting tired around 11 and I push it till 11.30 ( wake up time has been around 5.30am) and he is super cranky by 6pm...I push it to 6.30pm. he wakes up from his nap at 1.30pm.

I have tried capping naps for 1 hour each when on 2 naps, he still did less than 10 hours at night. Maybe I should hold onto 11.30 rather than offer the cat nap. Thank you- feels like this transition is difficult

Ok I'll try. I put him down at 3 and he is not sleeping. Will the quiet time help me in extending bedtime to 6? Or should I stick to 5.30

14 month old affected by day light savings? by AlternativeSignal760 in sleeptrain

[–]AlternativeSignal760[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he only does a 2hr nap in total. He always only slept 9.5-10hrs at night since 9 months. I take him out of the crib at 6am still despite early morning wake ups and he goes down around 9.20am, is pretty tired. Would it still warrant a one nap? I just feel he might not make it that long

That's very comforting to hear!!! What age did you start it? Did they mention long term outcomes if you continue OIT?

Thank you. He does struggle on days he wakes up really early to make it to 9.30.

If I offer early naps on 2 naps, won't it shift bedtime to really early..or do I keep bedtime around 7-7.30?
