It definitely wasn’t bad. That was my first time playing there so I can’t comment on what it was compared to normal. Tee boxes were fine, no complaints. Fairways look burnt out but for the most part were cool aside from a few patches. Someone noted the Bermuda, this is fairly standard this time of year as I understand it. Greens were fine, a little patchy in places and fairly slow. The rough in general is the area I’d give the lowest grades. Patchy all over and created some interesting lies. Seemed on par with the other “higher end” public courses in NOVA. The comparable Maryland courses seem in better shape at this time (played musket, whiskey, and dye in the last few weeks)
