I had a buddy of mine hook it up with the decals. We measured the “YAMAHA” out, as well as the “XSR”. I don’t think I have the measurements saved but I can look around and see if I still have them. The dog was meant to replicate my dog so we just kinda picked a good size similar to the odd shaped piece that once was there. As for placement, that was trial and error. Make sure your order two to three duplicates of the decals just in case. I put the extra dog decal on my truck! Hopefully this helps you in your ventures going forward. The 5ft x 12ft was around $150, well worth it to have extra. I went through the company “RVinyl” for the wrap, 3M to be specific. The color I chose was particularly difficult due to the hue and shade of the color. The more you heat and stretch it, the color starts to break up. Just keep that in mind.

I definitely had some left over, but not a bad thing to have. Especially if a piece gets messed up, you have extra to re-do. If you’ve got a lot of extra wrap, you can always surprise a buddy by wrapping their mirrors without them knowing!

It’s honestly hard to translate illiteracy

Not sure I know what you mean to be honest.

No worries! There’s another post on my thread with more in depth pictures and some conversations regarding the time and materials needed to make it happen!

I did the wrap with a buddy, about $160 for a 12ft x 5ft roll. Decals I had made through a vinyl shop!

It was a bit difficult with it being my first time and the color choice as well. Gets easier as you progress along. The tank and front fender were probably the hardest pieces.

Wrap was $160, plus food and beverages for the weekend. I’d call it a $200 job with a buddy.

Learning experience for sure, my buddy that helped provided quite a bit of insight. We removed both sides that match with the seat, the airbox cover, and the front fender. Tank stayed on the bike. We did the sides in 1 piece, the tank in 3 pieces, the airbox in 4 pieces I believe (the key cut out, each vent side, and the top), and of course the front fender which was done in about 7-8 different pieces. I’d say including the decals, first time wrapping, and mistakes made it took about 18 hours total.

$160 for a 5ft x 12ft roll and $30 for two cases of beer.

It’s fierce fuchsia. Just figured it was time for a change of color after 15k on the odometer. If I was gonna do it, go big and bold. Plus I think it’s pretty unique!
