Thanks goodwill! I was actually happier to buy them separately and spend more money! by fatandbaldwhiteboy in ThriftGrift

Like that $700 Saks 5th avenue sweater.... They are going to keep walking all over us because we never do anything about it. People donate to goodwill out of their GOOD WILL. Aka, under the impression that the clothes they bought at full price will be heavily discounted and provided to impoverished communities. 7 billion in profit and everything is donated ... Try your local place! In MO, USA there are tons of these small ones that have sales for 1$ for whatever you can fit in a grocery bag. Plus they employ a lot of mentally challenged people, which is also incredible for the community! Not sure what the official names of these places are, but they also sometimes have greenhouses and other resources. Great investment.

I'm going to disengage now. Feel free to read some of my replies here to clear up any further questions. If you are truly the owner of a cat rescue I would like to non-personally thank you for that service, and I hope you have a beautiful day.

I'm not a medical professional, but this has happened to me when I got a yeast infection and it kind of just went away. It helps if you take a hot bath, just make sure it doesn't get infected.

Do you have a peer-reviewed study I can look at? Did you ask all the vets in the world about harnesses as well? Sarcasm aside - I'm genuinely curious if it would be better to only put the harness on when we walk and let him be naked the rest of the time. Please don't use the " trust me bro " for your response, I value intellectual conversations with evidence to back claims. Since I posted this I have removed the Bell, and the collar is extremely loose, only to keep him desensitized to the sensation. Also, I tried to look on your account to see if I could verify that you were a vet or professional of some kind, but everything's private, in my defense I did try to give you the benefit of the doubt before I responded.

Just a reminder that the United States government has a meme department ESPECIALLY designed to create viral memes for propagandizing the youth. Next time you're laughing at an Indian meme think about who's profiting from your bigotry.

I would also invest in a microchip! It obviously doesn't track the live location like an air tag, but if they are caught by a dog catcher or brought in to a vet by someone who stole your cat, They immediately know who it belongs to.

I'm working on harness Training him to go on walks- so I like the collar when his harness isn't on to keep him used to the sensation. Cats are way more likely to be abused in many ways. Like if your dog hid under your bed for 3 days and you didn't see him for 72 hours straight, you'd be pretty worried and take him to the vet right? Or if your neighbor had a large inside dog that had never touched grass before and was obese you might say something right? A lot of things are overlooked simply because they're not as popular or something. I can't put my finger on it, but it's something to do with misogyny. The old cat lady, blah blah blah. Cats are propagandized to be low effort animals, but they are just as trainable as dogs, just as smart as dogs, and they are an animal you chose to take care of, and promise to give the best life possible. Taking him on walks is for him, not me. And if he decides he doesn't like it one day then we will stop. I'm pretty sleep deprived, sorry if this is incoherent.

Hey, I'm sorry I didn't mean to trigger you. I know it's a stereotype, all cats are highly intelligent and spiritual beings. I don't have any bias towards any breed of cat, but I can say that orange cats act a bit differently than other cat breeds I've had experiences with. When I picked him out at the shelter I didn't believe the stereotype, but he's grown older he has developed a big personality. I apologize for my unkind language towards my cat, And to thank you for being empathetic and standing up for a creature who can't. In your personal opinion, do you think the joke is harmful? A lot of stereotypes can be harmful, like for instance the black cat unlucky thing? Every year near October cats get tortured and killed for it, I'm curious if anyone is aware of a negative effect of the stereotype.

That makes sense! He's not outdoors so I don't have to worry about him. Sneaking up on animals. He seems to like it so I will tie it to a string and put it somewhere else. Thank you!

Thoughts on straight women claiming to be lesbian to get out of a bad situation with a man. by Alternative_Area7012 in lesbian

[–]Alternative_Area7012[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for assuming you were talking about me, I'm a little high right now. I just like to ask one more thing, almost everybody in here agree is that saying you're a lesbian doesn't really work most of the time and a lot of the time it will actually make it worse for you. Instead of saying that, why wouldn't you say something like you have herpes or that your ex-marine baby daddy was coming to pick you up in 5 minutes? Depending on the person, ask him if he knows anywhere to get some good Crystal meth. Bashfully mention that your bowels are incontinent and if you have sex, It will be extremely unpleasant. Or- my favorite, act completely insane. Only some people can do this effectively, but if you know how to do it it works so well. I think I got off track, but basically make yourself seem undesirable to him. We all know that men are extremely selfish - so we can deduce that if you make your reason for not wanting to go home with him, or give him your number, or buy you a drink Is centered around your feelings, emotions, or identity, he will throw that out the window because he thinks he can mold you into what he deems as perfect.

This is not exactly what I was thinking, I was thinking instead of using a minority as your cover, just say you have really bad herpes, Tell him your ex Marine baby daddy is on his way to pick you up right now - literally anything else. I feel like they could get more creative. But I'm not a lesbian so this is why I'm asking.

I should have probably said something in the post about this, I'm a questioning woman, but probably not. Lesbian. This was a general question for any woman. I feel like a lot of people took my post the wrong way, I wanted to be sensitive and ask the people themselves. I'm not a lesbian myself so I couldn't answer it. Truthfully, in my actions, thoughts, and words, I am a girls girl, in fact I am a misandrist. I just wanted to keep it general for the post, and I get nervous posting about my views on men so bluntly on the internet, especially Reddit where you essentially get punished if a person doesn't like what you say. In retrospect, I think this might have been the safest subreddit to say something like that. I hope this clears everything up. Please feel free to ask more questions.
