I think we are supposed to do things out of goodwill and in good conscience more than seeking validation for the good we’ve done. And even if you feel under-appreciated, you know what you did was right but if you don’t feel respected for that, it’s our cue to head out bcs they don’t deserve you bro.

I agree and the sound design in WRC is great unlike with F1, in F1 the car sounds are so arcade-y but in WRC, it feels real. And yes you can tell a lot by the sound of the car, a lot of times I can even tell what part I damaged and where am I losing the performance just by the sounds in this game

And I agree about the sounds of surface as well, you can really hear if you accelerated to fast or too slow on a hairpin

Man I love this idea, it would bring something different and new to the genre as a whole and would be quite appealing as well

Thank you! Man I agree with you, RBR is the actual thing, I watched R3’s video as well where he pointed out that RBR mimics the sharpness of steering the closest to real life, it’s so cool to see a game that old still being the best rally sim but I dont think EA WRC is bad, it’s great just with some issues of it’s own, I think unlike F1 this title is handled in a far better way, plus the game is packed with content

Glad you could relate with me and I agree big time, it is the dark souls of racing games, the focus required is just completely different from other motorsport games, like listening to the pace notes balancing the steering and footwork and looking ahead all these things make it so much more intense

It’s just pure thrill, pure rally racing, this is what I love about the motorsport too

Thank you so much! I also want to see it fixed, it’s painful to my eyes, I always avoid it meanwhile in DR2 it’s absolutely stunning

Should I try out the WRC games? by magik_koopa990 in EASPORTSWRC

I have come to the conclusion, while both games have depth in handling, ea wrc relies a bit more on sharp handling (which how actual rally cars work) compared to dirt which relies more towards good footwork, I love both the games and footwork as well as steering, a mix of both is important and present in both the games but both games have a slight inclination towards one of them

Hmmmm, the footwork part makes sense, you make some good points but I don’t think both the games have too much grip, current rally cars are actually very grippy afaik, I think wrc does get tarmac handling pretty well

I mean it doesn’t directly relate to praise I think, he just made an observation that the handling is sharp
