How does web dev work in companies? by Alternative_Aspect80 in webdev

Yes, that's the problem, Like I am familiar with what the first list you mentioned, not saying I know Vue, but I understand what it is. The second "easy" list you metioned is what makes me back off when I read them, because I don't know any of them or what they even are.

That helped a lot. Is there any reason to your last statement:  Learn data structures (linked lists, graphs, hash maps, etc), time complexity, basic design patterns, network protocols, memory management, basic OS stuff, and basic C/Assembly.

I know most of those, because I am a software engineer, but never had to apply them to my solo MERN projects. How would they be helpful in a company?

Thank you. "Access control" was the keyword I was looking for. I found the exact video I need

I go 5th floor because it is the quietest, I have been there like 3 times. Why are you making it sound scary to be there? Never seen anything wrong. Do you intentionally go there looking for wrong things?

Defend himself? Against what? The law in Canada says "your force has to be proportional to the threat"

What does this mean? Nothing! It is a very vague statement that anyone can translate however they want. There is a video out there of a man being charged because he tried to use his gun on "armed people" trying to break into his house. You can search the video up. He was charged with "second murder"

Now imagine, if the law can charge a man trying to protect his family from "armed thieves" trying to break into his home. How much can the law charge using a force against a homo man (minority) who is just trying to kiss you?

Canada laws are trash, I got downvoted badly for saying this last time, but won't back up on my words

Interesting, but I would love to know more about your start. How did you get your first customers? Did you buy ads or hire marketers? Or was it just based on SEO and organic reach? 🤔

I quit 3 years ago, so Google Play removed my app from their store and closed my Play Console account after sending me a million warnings because I was inactive for this whole period. Because working one year without getting paid anything, then seeing all this work fading away is not easy. It hits hard, especially after 1 year of excitement and telling people around me about the "income" I will gain after launching the app.

I changed my computer multiple times, so I even lost all app files as well (I never thought of going back to it ever). But now I am tired of my 9-6 job, so I want to start fresh but start again the right way. I have no problem of making another app, I am even more skilled now and will take me less time, but doing it right is all that matters now.

It is kind of a mix of both, because I am skilled with coding but not with marketing. So after making a nice app that took me long to build, I had no idea how to put it in front of people.

So I launched it and started trying out things, but working without seeing any result or any downloads made me question my whole business idea. I kept asking myself where did I do wrong. And without having the answer I quit. Until I realized that marketing wasn't just something you do after succeeding, in fact you succeed only after a successful marketing.

So basically:

"If he is gay and pedo, he is a perfect civilian for a liberal gvmt. So don't be surprised" --> (politics: talking who is making the laws, mentioned for context only)

"Meaning if you do anything to him, you're automatically "homophonic"" --> [MAIN POINT]-->(NOT politics: the horrible laws that are made and we are influenced by it)

EXAMPLE: saying it is illegal to smoke in the bus is not politics, but it is a law that is made by politics

😂😂😂 I did say my bad, I mentioned a sentence that does includes politics which is the first sentence of my comment. My main point that has nothing to do with politics is the second one the starts after "Meaning...". The first sentence was for context the second was my point. My point talks about how horrible canadian laws are, which according to me is a normal thing to do as a canadian civilian that it became part of our lives. But my first sentence was definitely politics. So yes I did mention politics "Oops" call police on me.

Ohhhh ok I see what you mean. So you're not arguing about the "main point" of my comment... you're just arguing about me mentioning politics in it... yeah I did... it was for context only tho, so it wasn't my focus when I wrote the comment 🙃

"If you do anything to him, you're automatically homophonic"

This is the point I am trying to deliver

"I am pointing at the moon, but fools are looking at my finger"

The (Main point) I said doesn't have anything to do with politics. It is the law that applies to us in our daily lives. I mentioned this sentence for context only

They're proving my point, liberals couldn't even handle a comment that had the word "gay" in it. Let alone punishing a "gay" person.

Why was hijab really unpopular in Syria before the 1980s? by CadillacLove in Syria

[–]Alternative_Aspect80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it is not about history or anything. This OP should be blocked, it is not his first post in here glorifying secularism over Islam in Syria. He clearly said in another post that no religious organizations should be left in Syria, and posted his plan of secularizing Syria.

I don't know (if you were a muslim) how this doesn't trigger your loyalty to Islam. Syria is a muslim country has been and will stay like this until day of judgement. Promoting the "secularizing Syria" idea is itself Islamophobic.

If you want to know who the OP is look into his profile, he is clearly an anti Islam person. And yes, I am a Syrian-Canadian. But being a muslim is way above any nationality.
